This takes place just after arriving and settling slightly into Dandy's Garden, just after Cuphead came to with the group now back in a different part of the forest after enforcers came in for the criminals they have become and they had to flee the gardens.
~Boris The Wolf~
After everything that has happened so far with fighting The Collectors (Cuphead and Mugs), making it out of that forest alive(barely), running from enforcers and Stars, what happened on the Dandy's supply train, carrying the heaviness of her own guilt and fear, and whatever this Ink Machine will even really do when they find it, she's quiet and stiff.
Boris was never seen as a fighter. That was always her slightly older sister, Bendy, especially because of where they grew up.
Coming from a church is a far cry to what eailer Bendy or Boris belive in. Especially after how they were treated in there. No God or celestial would approve of the scary positions placed on the children of religion. She doesn't care for anything she learned in those stone walls. Nor anything to do with religion.
She is also a wolf with a bleeding heart. Bendy hates it honestly, but she won't ever belittle Boris just because she cares for toons... Even if she shouldn't care for certain toons in Bendy's eyes.
Though, Boris is just as rude and stand off ish as Bendy, she's just more subtle and quiet about it... Though she will gladly get into a screaming match with anyone. Especially Mugsy.
Boris is more shy than her sister; but if it's needed, she'll get loud. Especially if it involves Bendy and their safety.
She is just a quiet lazy gal who doesn't love fighting physically, but she will, a protective pacifist, has almost a black and white world view, and she holds her morals high in a world with no morality. She refuses to feel nieve for that.
While the idea of finding the lost map that leads to the Ink Machine was Boris's idea in the first place, she's having a hard time grasping the fact that Bendy is the only one who can see it and that it isn't just a plain piece of parchment. But she wants nothing more than to help her older sister in curing her of the Blot.
The Blot is an Ink species related disease that is attacked from the inside out slowly, eating everything of its victim in vicious ink attacks until the victim just doesn't wake back up. The only cure is the machine.
She speaks with a soft Southern accent.
Boris (in her normal wolf toon form) has a taller frame with a small amount of chub mainly from the fur, shaggy, untrimmed heavy black fur, brownish eyes, slightly crooked, but sharp teeth, a shy but protective demeanor, and she stands at around 6'10.
~Bendy~
While dealing with the Blot disease, the Kettle sisters and their repeated fights, what ever happened in the forest — she isn't quite sure herself what that even was yet —, her brother going a little quiet, but finally relaxing a little, and the mix of guilt and being caught by Cuphead not saving the conductor of the train from being taken by the mother of all the Fallen Blots and turned into a horrible monster himself, Bendy has grown increasingly rude and snappy. She is a demon, after all, so it makes sense. Especially when something such as the map to the ink machine that could save her life is dangled in front of her face like teasing a dog.
Fallen Blots are the lost inky souls of past toons that have fallen to the Blot itself and remain trapped in the inky, mindless body of nothing, searching for a soul of their own to 'fix' it.
She's got a slight New York ish accent, mixed with a slight Spanish lilt but not exactly and not nearly as heavy.
She truly wishes that she and Boris could just drop the Kettle boys (the cup brothers) but they can't now because in a moment of silent desperation and not trusting Cuphead, she made a soul binding deal with the Kettles that Cuphead and Mugsy have to be a sort of bodyguard pair for the ink sisters until they find that ink machine, sealing a golden chain and cuff to both Kettle girls wrists in their souls.
Bendy has a shorter frame, a dark ink body with a whited out face just like an older cartoon, scarily white teeth that are sharper than most, thin, long fingers, black eyes, a loud, 'I only care about myself' tone, and she stands at about 5'5 and a half.
Toontown is where these idiots met, in the Ink and Paint bar that Mickey Mouse (a dangerous Star, head of all stars) owns, and Bendy stole the map from a famous adventurerer named Felix the Cat. Everyone in this town is some famous cartoon character, but they aren't in their own universe or shows/games.
The Stars are the leaders and diplomatic officials of Toontown and many other isles such as Inkwell Isle (and all the other ones). They're chosen to be Stars primarily because they are the most voted on (obviously) and some of the first cartoon families.
Everyone hates each other still. Bendy hates Cuphead the most, and Mugsy hates Boris the most. Cuphead hates both of the inks but mostly Bendy, same with Mugsy but more so he hates Boris.

Boris - more of the quiet, shy type. She doesn't make his presence known by being loud or teasing or rude but quiet and distant. She is very protective of the ones she loves. Other than that, she's basically just a big, happy wolf with a tail that never stops. She'd be happier if she weren't on this mythical, magical adventure with two people she hates and her dying sister. Now she's kinda just quiet and going with the flow while glaring down that blue mug she's nearly met death because of. Though, Boris is just as rude and stand off ish as Bendy, she's just more subtle and quiet about it... Though she will gladly get into a screaming match with anyone.
Bendy - Bendy is more loud and snappy, using her mouth to break down toons before the killing blow. She's also a big charmer and yapper. She isn't a quitter either. While she acts distant and rude and harsh, she genuinely cares for the toons in her life... Other than Cuphead and Mugsy... But they made a deal, so they've got to stick together now.

The forest is a labyrinth of ink and shadow, a place where the moonlight struggles to pierce the canopy of tangled, weeping branches. As the group trudges through the heavy, sludge like weeds, the silence between them is louder than any noise. It is a heavy, bitter silence, fueled by the grudges held by both sides and the suffocating feeling of being tethered together by a deal made in desperation.
Cuphead and Mugsy lead the way, their silhouettes cutting through the gloom as they push through the dense undergrowth. Behind them, the Ink sisters follow in a tense, fractured line. The terrain is claustrophobic; the thick, bushy thickets hem them in, making the path narrow and dangerous. It is a treacherous spot to be caught in if an enforcer or a Fallen Blot were to strike from the brush now, there would be nowhere to run, only the cramped, messy struggle of a fight in the dark.
Boris moves with a quiet, heavy hearted stiffness, her eyes fixed on the backs of the two sisters ahead of her. She feels the weight of the mission the map, the Ink Machine, the looming threat of the Blot pressing down on her shoulders harder than the humid air. She is wary of Mugsy, feeling the sting of the blue mug's dislike like a physical chill, and she responds by retreating further into herself, her shaggy black fur absorbing the dim light. She wants to be helpful, but she mostly just wants to ensure Bendy stays safe.
Bendy, however, is a spark of pure irritation in the dark. She stalks a few paces behind the Kettles, her movements sharp and jagged. The soul binding deal chafes at her; she can practically feel the golden cuff on her spirit, tethering her to the very toon she wishes she could leave in the dust. She watches Cuphead’s every move with a narrowed, suspicious gaze, her white teeth bared in a silent, cynical sneer.
"Watch where you're steppin', you clumsy mugs," Bendy mutters, her voice a low, biting hiss that cuts through the damp air. Her New York lilt is sharp, laced with a hint of a Spanish lilt as she gestures vaguely at the tangled weeds. "We ain't gonna help ya if you fall."
