Ben paces the floor of the room, his shoulders taut with tension and his palms digging into his eyes to stop the pain that's starting to form. "What the hell am I going to do now?" He whispers, wanting to destroy everything in the room. Since he heard that Jasmine ran off with her best friend, he's been scrambling. One year. He has one damn year to find a spouse. Jasmine was his easy choice. They had already been together for years, so why not? Maybe he pushed to hard for the marriage and kids. He could have just told her the truth. But how do you tell the girl you love that well, your father is making you marry in order to be rich? Sounds fucking shallow, even for him.
