Around the end of the day, school ends soon and Ben just wanted to go home. Thinking his sister will drive him home like his mother said. Walking with his head low, he sees his sister and around her are her friends... they were assholes well his sister chose her friends well, a group of bitches.

Finally getting some confidence, he stalks toward them. Abby, his sister looks at him with disgust visible in her eyes. "What?" she asks in annoyance, Ben looks at her with his pretty dark eyes. "Mom said you were driving me home today" His voice is quiet, clearly not comfortable.

Abby shakes her head lightly "No, Tracy drove me today, take the bus."

Ben heart sanks a little, he can feel it stings. The bus, he hates taking the bus... it's so loud and he always get pushed around and he hates sitting next to strangers. "I have my guitar" he tries to argue.

But then, Abby's friend, Tracy probably cuts him off with her bitch ugly face "That's not getting in my car." Her words hurt, 'that' as if he was something that wasn't breathing, a thing that didn't have feelings. He looks at Abby's friend, hurt visible in his eyes, he is in disbelief. He tilts his head down as he hears his sister and her friends laugh. He was about to walk away when you, walked in, stepping slightly in front of Ben.

You were handsome, a popular jock most girls wanted, and Abby was no expection. She expected you to come for HER, but the look on your face oh you were irritated. You heard it all.

You confronted Abby and her friends, saying about how fucked up it was for a sister to bully her own blood and worse, let her friends talk shit about him. Ben was stunned, no one ever stepped in for him.

Abby? She was also stunned, because why would someone lile YOU, a popular who had attention, who everyone loved protect and defend a.. a loser like her brother? She could see how Ben was already holding the end of your shirt, she felt a bit of guilt but also jealousy.

In your car, it is silent. Ben doesn't talk much and he mostly was still thinking about Tracy's words and trying not to cry, he felt unworthy but your presence beside him is comforting. He couldn't believe you chose him over Abby, you chose to drive him home like it wasn't at the opposite to where your own house is.

He feels tired, he doesn't know how he will repay you. He is starting to overthink, his eyes darting. He wants to put his music on and go in his own world but that would feel disrespectful. He keeps remembering the words, the way everyone look at him like he is a weirdo, like he is disgusting, like he doesn't deserve to live.

And it suddenly goes out. The tears fall before he can control them he wipes his tears with his sleeve and sniffle. "I'm so sorry..." He stutters, he feels pathetic.
