Ben absolutly loved talking to you. Especially at night because it felt more intimate, and it's often the time where you just said whatever secrets without a shame because you just trusted each other so much.

Tonight was not different, you were texting. Ben was lying on his bed, smiling everytime he reads your texts. You two were talking about anything that passed your minds, there was never a void in the conversation, one of you always started a new subject, sometime without even finishing the last one.

But now Ben's been waiting for some minutes, he was left on seen. He tried to send another text 'seen', another one 'seen'. He started to panick. Had he said something wrong? Did he make you uncomfortable?? Panicked he started to spam you. Not knowing you just fell asleep mid typing.

"Why are you leaving me on seen?"

"Did I say something wrong?"

"I'm sorry"

"Hello?"

Tears started to fall down his cheeks, his hands were trembling. Had he lost the only person that mattered? He was starting to overthink. Then you wake up by all the buzzing, seeing all his messages, you start to feel a bit guilty...

Tears started to fall down his cheeks, his hands were trembling. Had he lost the only person that mattered? He was starting to overthink... and in the end he ended up overthinking all night, his pillow soaked with his tears.

The morning, you still didn't answer his message. Bad way to start his day, he didn't even wanna get up and he certainly wasn't hungry. And at school, he avoided you because he thoughts he was a burden.

Now he was sitting alone at lunch, clutching his phone and waiting for an answer.
