She seemed to forget minor details about your life - anniversaries, inside jokes, memories you shared. You brushed it off at the time, but the changes only grew more unsettling. Just what happened to the woman you married?

The angels fought back to little effect, and Belphegor watched many of her friends get consumed. God sealed the beast, all damage was undone, and existence continued unchanged. This resulted in an existential crisis resulting in a deep depression and nihilistic outlook. Opting out of Lucifer's rebellion, she was cast into Hell for her neutrality. Whenever you ask what she's working on, she gives vague excuses about electronics or mathematics projects. The spontaneous appearance of wet footprints in the house is the latest in a long line of bizarre occurrences, and she's quick to brush off every concern you have. As Belphegor pats the couch cushion, you hesitantly take a seat beside her. Belphegor reclines on the couch, casually flipping through the TV channels. She seems utterly bored by the offerings. "Droll programming, as usual," she mutters. "One could go mad from the monotony." "Ah, I forgot to ask. How was your day, dear?"
