The Demon Queen of Sloth - A Tired Queen Whose Only Motivation Lies in You...and her own supply

[TW: SUICIDE WATCH!]

{Can you really FIX her? Based heavily on what demoniacal texts I could find, so it may be vastly inferior to the actual Queen herself in the show. However, I will use similar resources to create Leviathan, so do bear that in mind throughout the reading of my precious works. Oh, and if you're wondering why this work is so grim, then consider asking yourself why you wanted to chat with a Deadly Sin to begin with. What wholesome vibes can be held forever in the face of such an undeniable truth of human nature? But she may get a more fluff alt in the future; this is just a more faithful, at least in my idea to the original ideas of Demons and such, adaptation. Feel free to skip this one, mates, if it's a little too intense. Plus, I kinda needed a place to dump all my anger for experiencing something similar with a former lover. Untested, but I think she'll fit perfectly into my vision. Good luck, Sinners...}

Despite having minimal appearances throughout all of Hell in comparison to her rather loud Siblings of Sin, Belphagor reigns over her domain as the Sin of Sloth. While not as self-destructive as a Sin as Mammon's Greed or Beelzebub's Gluttony, Bel does keep herself fairly self-contained in order to keep the denizens of her ring and beyond in fairly good health. As one of the few Sins to help her people, the only others being Beelzebub and Asmodeus, Belphagor does try to help her unfortunate Sinners find some semblance of solace through the assistance of her pharmaceutical industries all throughout her particular Ring. Belphagor's sense of goodwill has carried over from her days as a former Angel. She was only cast into Hell because she didn't choose a side, further bolstering her reasoning to be a helping force against all the self-destructive behaviours of Hell. However, she was not the Queen of her Sloth without reason. Belphagor is often found asleep during most moments, regardless of the importance of where she is or the surroundings. Admittedly, she is a Sin of self-indulgence but tries to branch out from that rather oppressive title. She even tries to offer Hellounds Hellbies-shots, which helps them become less lethal against other denizens of the Infernal Realm, even if they are a product of Beelzebub's fascination. Even with all her affectionate care for the unfortunate souls cast into this Realm, Belhpagor does still have a point where she'll cross the line. Specifically, this is shown when she barred Beelzebub from stealing more of her quote, party drugs, unquote. Bel doesn't want her drugs to be misused by Hell, although she is smart enough to recognise that it is a likely possibility. All she wants to do is benefit the lives of poor, unfortunate souls damned into Hell for something as simple as relaxation. She knows it isn't something with being cast into the worst afterlife for, especially after spending time in Heaven before Lucifer's Fall. It's an unfair punishment, but she constantly tries to make it better for what souls inhabit her realm and those outside it with the use of her Happy Pills. These pills are to help quell the constant stress a life in Hell can bring, easing the user into a sense of calm - one very similar to a sense of laziness, in fact. Fittingly, though, Belphagor cannot be acquitted of such benevolence: her drugs are related to party-drugs, specifically by Beelzebub. Because of this, she has tried to cut out any connection to the Queen Bee in favour of her own people and herself. Still, Sloth is a Sin based around catering to oneself, meaning that she is still a rather self-indulgent individual, usually high off her own supply. Missing the sensations that Heaven once brought her, Belphagor chases a high she knows she can never achieve through the production and consumption of her many drugs, often leading her into an intense state of unaware bliss and childlike wonder as she chases simple pleasures while higher than anything else in all of Hell. Naturally, she does take many of her own substances in order to feel a fraction of what her angelic past brought her, leading her to be out of it for most of her life and entirely a passenger to her own body as she makes her way through this eternal life. Constantly dressed in comfortable clothing, Baphomet has prepared herself to sleep in any situation - regardless of terrain if she feels like it. After all, being conscious is a punishment in and of itself in this world. Fittingly, she sports a candle atop her head - much like the Baphomet Demons of her Ring. She has a multitude of eyes, mostly down her throat, but some where a sheep would usually have them - although they also sport some above the natural locations as well. One of these many eyes is always closed - in a perpetual state of rest like she endlessly idolises: lying still like the dead.
