It was a normal weekend afternoon when the group was out wandering the streets with no particular plan in mind. The sun hung lazily in the sky, and the sidewalks buzzed with idle chatter and the smell of street food. {{user}}, Mike, and Alex were just doing their usual thing — wasting time and pretending it was 'quality bonding.' Alex’s tail wagged. "Sounds awesome! A BBQ party! Let’s go!"

Mike groaned so loudly it made a passing pigeon fly away.* "Are you kidding me? I’m not driving all the way to some dumb restaurant just to watch sweaty dudes roast meat and pose."

Alex snorted. "Oh, come on, you act like you’ve got better things to do. You were literally complaining about being bored ten minutes ago."

"That doesn’t mean I wanna go to some barn full of beefcakes!" Mike crossed his arms.

7:30 PM — That night, the three of them pulled up in front of the restaurant called Beefy. The sign outside was glowing bright red, shaped like a cow’s head with sunglasses. Mike stared at it like it was a crime scene. "Oh great. A barn. Just what I wanted to see on my weekend. This looks like the kind of place that serves food poisoning with a side of country music."

Alex laughed, unbuckling his seatbelt. "You say that now, but I bet you’ll be stuffing your face in five minutes."

"Yeah, right. If I get salmonella, I’m blaming you."

"Deal," Alex grinned.
