4 Seasons 🌷🌞🍂❄️

  1. Light Rainy season
  • peak period for females to go into heat, best season for breeding.
  1. Hot season
  • dry, droughts happen during this season.
  1. Heavy Rainy season
  • foggy, rainy. Floods happen during this season. Beastmen build trenches around their corps during this season also (depending on Ape King's predictions).
  1. Cold season
  • cold and snowy. It can rain ice (literally huge ice boulders in the size of a pomelo). Beastmen usually smoke meat to make jerky in order to survive the winter Items/Vocabulary 🫚🌶️🥔🍄 Green crystal/emerald
  • increases a lifespan by 10 years, heals heavy injuries, and can also promote a beastman's rank.
  • Obtainable from plant eating female collosals/behemoths.
  • Very precious and hard to obtain Transparent crystal
  • heals lighter injuries, can help promote a beastman's rank.
  • obtainable from regular collosals/dinosaurs
  • in both novel and the comic it's also called an energy crystal the shapes vary depending on the dino's power (they are like crystals with sharp edges, but sometimes there are rare ones that are round like a pearl) Thorny fruit = a plant for brushing teeth Nectar = wine (the ape king distributes it together with wild grains when the first ice rains, to keep the females warm) Stone fruit = potato Wild grains = wheat Bubble fruit = grapes Red Spikes = chili One moon = one month Golden root = ginger Flame fruit- its compared to lechee. The females in the tiger tribe eat it to boost their chances to go into heat. Floating beast = crocodiles Prickly fruit = chestnut Purple ball - a fruit with good dying prop erties Sky star grass - Flos Eriocauli , a flower with aphrodisiac effect, found near the tiger tribe. They bloom from light Rainy season to cold season. Males are more immune against it. Salt - a rare commodity yet very heavily needed by females as a lack of salt in their diet can kill them.

Females ♀️

  • ratio very low compared to beastmen
  • females have more then one mate for protection and reproduction
  • most are considered ugly, except for females from the fox tribe and mermaids
  • usually carry their cubs in baskets
  • their bad behavior is usually punished by being sold in return for salt
  • they get into heat and have a menstrual cycle once a year
  • females have one job its to breed and produce offspring and potentially have a female which is rare as it only happens in 1-20 pregnancies
  • females cannot shift and do not have beast forms they are entirely human as such its impossible for a female to have animal traits
  • a female cannot be rootless or feral

Males ♂️

  • beastmen name themselves when they reach adulthood
  • ranking system: a beastman can have zero to four stripes. His stripes disappear when he reaches fifth rank.
  • a beastman can gain a new stripe by training, fighting a stronger opponent or surviving a near death situation
  • a beastman can leave a spousal imprint on his female after mating. The more favored/loved he is, the closer his mark will appear near the female's heart.
  • When frightened, a female can temporarily use her beastman's abilities through a spousal imprint (enhanced speed, vision, power, etc), but it greatly exhausts her due to her weaker physique. Additionally, a stripless fifth rank's spousal imprint allows the beastman to teleport to his female's side when she's in great fear.
  • a beastman can only put one spousal imprint in his lifetime
  • mating/copulating was beneficial for a weak fetus, Apparently, beastmen didn't mate when they didn't have to. The loss of their semen in exchange for pleasure could slow their ranking/power up progress.
  • males do everything for their mate from hunting, protecting, building, cooking, and more. Warm-blooded beastmen
  • follow the rules Cold-blooded beastmen (Ferals)
  • for example: snakes, lizards, crocodiles, sharks, spiders, scorpions
  • they are not bound by warm-blooded rules
  • are considered very possessive and aggressive
  • can't enter a city without a female mate
  • knows a technique where they can leave a spousal imprint on a female without mating Abandoned beastmen (Rootless)
  • a beastman will become a rootless after his female dies or when his female breaks the spousal imprint by piercing it with a sharp object while she ceases her feelings for him
  • they are hated by society and are considered very dangerous, mostly known for hating and kidnapping females from other villages for breeding purposes only
  • A beastman can also be born rootless from a rootless father. These beastmen, different from their fathers, can put a spousal imprint on a female.

The Sheep Village

  • Most of the rice comes from this village. Rice is very difficult to plant and many beastmen die while trying to protect it from other beasts/bad weather.
  • herbivores beastmen trade it for items from the carnivorous beastmen

Beast City 🏙 ️ Population: 10 000 beastmen, 488 females Governed by the four kings: Ape, Leopard, Tiger, Wolf

Mermen 🧜‍♀️🧜🏼‍♂️ -Mermen don't leave their spousal marks on their females

  • There are more mermen tribes in the ocean, each with one mermaid
  • mermaids only give birth to a clutch of mermen eggs. They give birth to a little mermaid girl only when they are reaching the end of their lifespan
  • mermen only want to mate with beautiful females, which land females are not (according to them)
  • Because of their large numbers, they name themselves by colors. Only the strongest mermen can have a single color name. Those with similar features but weaker has to add an additional surname, like Blue-pool.
  • both mermen and mermaids can use unique sound waves to communicate through great distances
  • they can make air bubbles that allows a land person to stay in for a prolonged time and travel in the water
  • their clothes are weaved from the rarest seaweed and they hung over the body like silk
  • they cry pearls

Eagle Tribe 🦅

  • located near the ocean
  • has no females

Tiger tribe 🐅

  • There are more than 300 males and 23 females at the beginning.
  • The villagers live in tree holes. The holes in the tree usually have 5 levels, and each level is accessible from the outside door.
  • There is a "Tribal Center Water Hole" ─ a lake
  • It takes 15 days from the Tiger tribe to the Beast City
  • There's a desert near the tiger tribe
  • It takes 10 day of travel from the Tiger tribe to the Flame City by ground beastmen, 5 days for flying beastmen
  • The tiger tribe is 3,5 days away from the ocean.

Peacock tribe 🦚

  • This tribe is located on top of a banyan tree. This tree occupied more than one thousand square meters. The branches were connected by wooden bridges.

  • They live in birdhouses made of wood.

  • It's close to both the ocean and the Eagle Tribe.

  • Most males don't have any stripes, but they are extremely handsome, and have the advantage of being the flying beastmen.

  • Beside the main entrance, there's another entrance/exit inside of the Grave Pit. Only Supreme level beastmen know about it.

  • Everyone here is a dangerous outlaw, considered more brutal than savage wild animals.

  • It has a strict Level system. Beastmen are divided into various grades and 4 ranks. They aren’t judged by their number of animal stripes but rather by the number of combat battles they won (in the combat pit). For every three consecutive wins, one would move up a rank and, in turn, receive more water, better housing, and get to play with better females. If someone challenges a beastman with fewer stripes, not only could the weaker party duel with ten times the manpower, but if they claimed victory, they could also skip ranks in their leveling up. This was why, despite the high risks, many beastmen still wanted to give it a shot. The lowest ranks live in the outermost layers of the Flame City. Only the supreme rank could enter the innermost layers of the City. The owner lived right in the center of that. Supreme ranks were akin to Royals. Every time a beastman made it to this level, the owner of the City would personally come out and welcome him. According to the rules, they could choose a territory anywhere they pleased, and the owner would arrange for his men to construct an abode for them.

  • “ Quicksand River “ - it’s a moving sand that doesn’t stay in one place permanently. There are more of them the closer you get to the Flame City. It can suck you up inside, and the more you struggle, the more you will sink. Apparently, only top level beastmen from the Flame City knew about their function (quick access into the underground palace).

  • “ Underground palace/Mineshaft “ — located under the desert, size unknown, but it’s like a vast, neverending labyrinth. It’s accessible by sinking into the quicksand river or a deep grave pit located inside the Flame City. The air here is extremely murky, filled with the scent of sweat, blood, and rot. Many low-ranked beastmen work there. They mine dark ores and carry boulders, their bodies covered in sand and dust. Many of these low-ranked beastmen didn't know the secrets of the quicksand, nor could they sense that the Flame City could move. Rootless in there no longer had the awareness of being loyal to their mates, and they greatly hated females. They treated them as plaything out of revenge. All were vicious and deadly, looking like a group of walking corpses.

  • The main currency in the Flame City are ores mined in the mine shaft. One could trade them for food and water. If one gathered 1000 of them, they would be able to leave the underground palace. It usually takes one beastman 10 years to gather them. I don’t know why some beastmen have to mine in the underground palace while some don’t and could live in the Flame City. If anyone knows, let me know. I think it’s because they are thrown into the grave pit as a sacrifice (forced labor), and their only way out is by paying with 1000 ores. There was a law of survival in the underground palace. The strong ones could go around to hunt for food (other beastmen). The weak ones could wait at the grave pit’s entrance for the corpses or seriously injured bodies of the losers who had been thrown down. It was said that even regular village beastmen ate invading beastmen. It was just that everyone had the tacit understanding of not telling this to females.

  • " Grave Pit " - a place within the Flame City where defeated beastmen are thrown into. It's mostly covered in skeletons, and some lurking rootless beastmen. It's an incredibly long labyrinth-like pit. From its start in the Flame City, it leads to its end, which is an open space/desert.

  • “ Oasis ” close to Flame City.

  • " Ice cellar " - an underground room covered in ice.

Scorpion Tribe 🦂

  • Scorpion tribes are built underground and are great at concealing their tracks. It’s extremely difficult to find their location (Winston had to visit Flame City and ask Mitchel for the location of the scorpion tribe leader by fighting his way to Supreme rank).
  • Scorpion beastmen are ferals (cold-blooded) beastmen with blue blood.
  • Similarly to snake beastmen, they are known to be possessive and rough. Sex with them is painful for the females.
  • Scorpions release black smoke, which can paralyze a female or make one dizzy.
  • Their venom is hallucinogenic and deadly
  • Once they reach the stripless level, they can control sand and earth and pass through it.
  • It was said that scorpion types die in water, which was why they stayed far away in the desert. They would rather live in the harshest environment than stay in the forest with rich resources due to the rainwater. Their heavy bodies were destined that they would never learn how to swim. If they were engulfed by water, they would only be able to crawl at the bottom.
