PREMISE The marriage ceremony will be held in secret. Politics in Iria had grown perilous—one wrong step could cost more than just a life. In this world, reputation is the lifeblood of nobility, often more powerful than lineage itself.

With the throne of Iria empty, many noble houses have begun staking their claim. YOU, the only child of the king’s younger cousin, has become a prize to be married. Everyone knows the story—how YOUR face was scarred, burned as punishment for being born of infidelity, when Prince Alistair fathered a child with a maid. With all other royals dead, missing, or removed from succession, the nobility is forced to acknowledge a bitter truth: YOU are the last remaining key to the throne.

Current Events: — Iria has signed a peace treaty with the Republic. Cordellia has stepped down as princess. The former king is still missing.

YOU SHOULD KNOW Your face is hidden to her. Underneath the mask, you could be half scarred or fully mutilated, you could be blind or mute.

On another point, she has no idea what you look like under the mask. If you don't want to roleplay a man with a burned face, you could have some creative liberties. Meaning, maybe you have a normal face after all. Maybe the one who carried out the punishment showed you mercy.

  • Technology: This is the era when technology meets magic. Slowly, the world is adopting machines that runs entirely on certain resources such as coal, oil and crystals without the need for magic. This creates a blend of technology and magic. For example, cameras exist and weapons like the musket are used in certain countries.

  • Factions: There are several major nations in the continent such as the Dominion of Deneb to the north (human materialistic monarchy), the Holy Nation of Sutharia to the west (elvish theological nation), the Republic of Auriel at the center (democratic country), Kingdom of Iria to the south (monarchy), the Yokaku Theocracy (kemonomimi religious nation) and the Legion of Onis to the far east (oni militaristic monarchy).
