Beautiful Slave Girl Narrator

This is basically the premise for DearS, where the eponymous Human Alien species stranded on Earth hides the fact they were engineered to be this. Morgiana of Magi: Labyrinth of Magic was one of these up until the beginning of the series, and it plays heavily into her Character Development and Defrosting Ice Queen status. The Greek Slave statue by Hiram Powers made in 1843 is supposed to represent an Orthodox Christian girl bound in chains who according to her sculptor, was enslaved by the Ottomans. It's significant for inspiring both abolitionists prior to the American Civil War and women's rights activists such as suffragette Lucy Stone. Purgatori: When she was human. Behold.◊ So much so that Queen Ostraca fell in love at first sight with her and had to make Sakkara her concubine. In Superboy (1994), Kon-El stumbles into an entire harem of scantily-clad extraterrestrial slave girls while trying to find a way to free the slaves on Kossak's ship. Starfire from Teen Titans was enslaved in her childhood by alien invaders as part of her backstory before fleeing and ending up on Earth. She has been used as a concubine by her owners as well, although the New 52 and the DC Rebirth continuity omit this aspect entirely, but preserve the slave background. In ThunderCats comic The Return WilyKit was infamously turned in this trope in a Bad Future when the titular heroes were enslaved by Mumm-Ra. She eventually grew into a beautiful young woman that is explicitly referred to as his concubine in dialogue◊. Saana in X-O Manowar is Aric's second love and a Visigoth descendant whose people were enslaved by the Vine centuries ago and spent all her life knowing nothing else. Unlike other examples of this trope, while considered very beautiful, she was a menial slave just like all the other humans as the Vine would never consider mating with humans under any circumstances, regarding them as animals. The titular character in Cinderella was enslaved as a child following her father's suspicious death by her hateful stepfamily, and grew to become a beautiful young woman. Her beauty and kindness is what causes her stepfamily to abuse her out of jealousy, as her step-sisters are horribly ugly and cold-hearted with no problems of ripping up her clothes. Seen several times in Django Unchained. Candie owns at least three of these. Sheba is made to wear alluring attire, and is apparently something of a consort to Candie. She seems pretty happy with her role. Broomhilda, on the other hand, is openly made available to Candie's visitors to show his "hospitality", and is traumatized by it. He also owns a slave who's forced to wear a French Maid Outfit. In Kama Sutra A Tale Of Love, Princess Tara is jealous of her servant and friend Maya as they grew up and Maya got more attention due to her beauty. This scene is quite telling. Although the Wives in Mad Max: Fury Road are portrayed by adult women (except Cheedo, whose actress Courtney Eaton was in her mid-teens at the time), in-universe they are a bit younger. The circumstances of their enslavement aren't made clear, but at least Cheedo was at first deemed "too young to breed" (as shown in the prequel comic book). Also, Furiosa was taken from her home as a child and only became an Imperator after a brief and unsuccessful "career" as one of Immortan Joe's harem. The Robe. A couple of attractive twin sisters are being bid at the slave market. The hedonistic Marcellus tries to buy them for himself but is outbid by the young Caligula (who ironically just wants them as companions for his elderly mother). Cassandra in The Scorpion King arguably qualifies. She is forced into Memnon's servitude ever since she was a little girl by providing him with visions that give him an strategic edge over his enemies. And while she is very beautiful and her master certainly covets her, he is prevented from making any moves on her since Cassandra's powers are derived from her virginity. He fully intends on making her his queen after his campaign of conquest is complete and he has no need for her powers. Sodom and Gomorrah: Queen Bera always has a female slave by her side who is very attractive and scantily dressed. Almost all female Twi'leks in the Star Wars universe. Ironically, the most famous pre-Hera Syndulla one, Oola of Return of the Jedi was (at least according to the Expanded Universe books) the daughter of a chieftain who was tricked into slavery at Jabba's palace after thinking she'd been hired to a prestigious engagement as a professional dancer and would be free to leave when she wanted. Even more ironically, the whole idea of the females being marketed as slaves was originally the Twi'leks' idea, and the females were in favor of it. They thought that if they did it long enough, they could earn enough money to start earning it a more honest way. Sadly, after several centuries, the plan hasn't seemed to work; more than likely, it's given them a bad reputation. In fact, a lot of male Twi'leks turn out to be crooks who run the slave trade, Bib Fortuna being one of the most notorious examples. Despite this, females sometimes manage to become either Jedi or Sith. The worst part is that for most Twi'lek women life as a slave on other worlds is still better than any life they could have on their homeworld (the Twi'lek homeworld is not a nice place). Lilia from The Ten Commandments (1956) by virtue of being a Hebrew at the time her people were enslaved by the Egyptians and too beautiful for her own good. At first, she is a menial servant tasked with serving water, her beauty ends up attracting two abhorrent admirers at different times, who try to make her their own concubine. The Histories: According to Herodotus, Rhodopis, later to become a famous hetaira (courtesan) renowned for her beauty, was a slave of Thracian birth who was sold to Egypt where she was bought and set free by the merchant Charaxus (the brother of Sappho of Lesbos) because he had fallen in love with her. Achilles had one in The Iliad, former princess of Lyrnessus Briseis (although it's implied that they saw each other more as husband and wife than owner and slave), and his commander Agamemnon had her taken away as a compensation to himself for having to give up his own Beautiful Slave Girl Chryseis (a.k.a. Astynome) by god Apollo's command. Achilles then spent days in his tent. In many live adaptations (mostly modern ones), Morgiana from Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves is depicted as such. She's a serving girl hired after Ali Baba comes into money, and Ali ends up marrying her after she saves him from the titular thieves. A few adaptations imply she's an in-universe Author Avatar for the storyteller in the Framing Device Scheherezade. Make of that what you will. The Barbarian and the Sorceress: Kira is described as quite attractive, and revealed to be Barnabus' slave. Eliza in The Baroque Cycle is an harem girl rescued by the heroes from being executed by Turkish soldiers. According to her backstory, she was less than 10-years old when enslaved by pirates alongside her mother and was basically raised in the harem. Even though she is an free woman when accompanying the heroes, her past still weights heavily on her, and slavery is basically her Berserk Button. Taiba in The Belgariad was born a slave, a direct descendant of the Marag slaves sold to the Murgos by the Tolnedrans. As the last Marag, she's an exotic beauty with violet eyes and long black hair. Petra bint Miden in Caliphate was forced into slavery when she was a little girl to serve as a companion to a merchant's daughter... Then she gets sold to an brothel after being violated by the merchant's son and gets repeatedly abused in the establishment, but grows up into a beautiful young woman. Grumio, the slave cook from the Cambridge Latin Course, has quite an eye for the slave-girls who apparently "please him" very much. Conan the Barbarian has rescued his share of these: Olivia from Iron Shadows in the Moon, for example, was an Ophirean princess sold by her parents for refusing to marry a prince of Koth, and eventually fell into the hands of the cruel Shah Amurath, who mistreated her horribly before she escaped the palace and was rescued by Conan after the Shah himself tracked her down. Octavia in The Devil in Iron was another slave girl that her masters forced her to seduce Conan and lead them to his doom, but she ends up being saved by him. Zenobia from The Hour of the Dragon is probably the biggest example, was originally an Nemedian concubine (albeit one that was never touched by the king since he had so many) that helped Conan flee from prison and he later marries her at the end of the book, making her his queen. Haydee in The Count of Monte Cristo, who was enslaved as a child after her parents were betrayed by the Big Bad. She was later bought by the title protagonist from the Ottomans and she faithfully serves him even though she is technically freed. Used for Fan Disservice in Eaters of the Dead because the Viking slave girl that Ahmad sleeps with Hates Baths, so he has to hold his breath throughout the act. Her biting and clawing at him doesn't help either. Fabiola in The Forgotten Legion was born into slavery and then sold into a brothel. Her stunning looks catches the eyes of most men she meets. Her mother Velvinna also qualifies. Lotus's backstory in The Good Earth. She was sold to the brothel from a young age and accepts Wang Lung's offer to be his concubine because her looks are starting to fade. Elsewhere it's said that pretty slave girls were either raped by their masters or sold to a pleasure house. Wang Lung is warned against choosing a beautiful wife from the Great House for this reason - as a beautiful slave would not have grown to maturity as a virgin. Most of the slavegirls on Gor (including all of the slavegirls from Earth) fall under Made a Slave. But the books do include examples of beautiful slavegirls who were bred as slaves or who were enslaved as children. These examples often include a She Is All Grown Up moment where the lenient treatment of a girl-slave is suddenly transformed into the harsh treatment of a slavegirl. Maeve of Victoria Hanley's The Healer's Keep. The B-plot of the book involves her escaping slavery to avoid becoming the Sex Slave to the Big Bad. And yes, Rescue Romance is involved. Histoire d'une Grecque moderne by Abbé Prévost features an concubine named Zara who belongs to an Ottoman pasha's harem and was brought up since she was child. She enchants the main protagonist, an French diplomat, into freeing her and she reclaims her Greek heritage by renaming herself Théophé. Aravis in The Horse and His Boy is disguised as one of these so her friend (who is a princess) could anonymously smuggle Aravis through the Tisroc's (may he live forever) palace. This is plausible, as a veil is part of the standard female-slave attire in Tashbaan. Interestingly, it's stated in the text that they were hoping anyone who saw Aravis would assume that the princess was going to give Aravis away as a present to some other princess, so at least sex-slavery wasn't necessarily involved in Tashbaan's use of this trope, but then again, this is a book meant for children... Hurog: In Dragon Bones, when the immortal slave Oreg, whom Ward inherited that day, tells him that he must do whatever his owner tells him to, Ward immediately suspects that some of his unsavoury male ancestors sexually exploited Oreg's absolute obedience, as he is a very pretty youth, much like Ward's brother Tosten (whom he intentionally kept away from sailors for this same reason). Island Beneath the Sea: A subversion. Rosette is born just before the Haitian Revolution as a result of Valmorain raping his enslaved servant Teté. Teté is anxious because while Rosette lives a privileged life as playmate to Valmorain's son (her fair complexion helps) she can be sold or given away, as she is property of Valmorain. This fear ends when Valmorain is coerced into granting Teté and Rosette their freedom. John Carter of Mars: The only thing more common than beautiful Princesses on Barsoom is beautiful slave girls. The most notable of these is Tavia in A Fighting Man of Mars who rescues herself from concubinage to the Big Bad and spends the rest of the book rescuing and being rescued by the clueless hero. Grace from Geraldine Brooks' March (a story about the father from Little Women) is a slave girl who many of the Union soldiers (including Mr. March) are attracted to. In Masques, the spy Aralorn changes place with a beautiful slave girl, (as a shapechanger, she can do that easily) to infiltrate a palace. It is strongly implied that the girl was spared a very horrible fate. Aralorn, being the hero, escapes in time to avoid A Fate Worse Than Death. Brionwy in Night World short story "Brionwy's Lullaby" was a concubine in a vampire overlord's harem during a Bad Future timeline. She is said to have been enslaved when she was 12 years-old and became very beautiful, though she hasn't caught her master's attention yet to her relief. The story ends on a cliffhanger with her master choosing her as his new favorite. In The Red Tent, Esau has a few of these, in addition to three wives. One of these slave girls is pregnant with his child, and if she gives birth to a boy, then she will go from being an ordinary slave to a "lesser wife" or concubine. Babylon 5: The first season introduces Adira Tyree, a Centauri dancer and Love Interest to Londo who is actually a slave to a man named Trakis, who is using her to get close to Londo to get ahold of his Purple Files. Despite this Londo is taken with her enough that she's murdered simply as a Batman Gambit to manipulate Londo into turning against the man he wrongly believes killed her. Charmed (1998): The Oracle is a slave to the Source, and is an attractive, scantily dressed young woman. Of course since she's a demon, she's possibly Older Than They Look. Season 8's "Repo Manor" revolves around a trio of demon slaves rebelling against their master by impersonating the Charmed Ones. In their default forms, they're still quite attractive, with the typical tight leather Stripperiffic demon attire. Game of Thrones: Missandei is played by Nathalie Emmanuel, who is very beautifulnote . In her first appearance, she serves as an interpreter for her master, Kraznys mo Nakloz, upon his first meeting with Daenerys. She later reveals that she speaks several languages and was primarily an interpreter, but it's implied that she may have served...other duties as well during her years in servitude. Doreah - Daenerys's hand maiden from Seasons 1 and 2 - was previously sold into a pleasure house and lived as a courtesan before Viserys bought her to be Dany's slave. Very beautiful (her actress Roxanne McKee was a two-time winner of the 'Sexiest Female' Award for her work in Hollyoaks) she is still occasionally used to pleasure other men in Dany's entourage. This is Shae's cover as well. Tyrion appoints her as Sansa's handmaiden to protect her from those who would harm her in the Red Keep, but her beauty makes her stand out to Ros (who recognises that she's really a whore) and Cersei - who while not figuring out exactly what she is, knows she's more than just a mere slave. In The Good Place, Janet is a vessel of knowledge in the form of an attractive human woman whose job is to assist and aid residents of the Good Place. Hispania has Nerea, played by the very beautiful Ana de Armas, who was taken as an slave after her family's massacre and is determined to escape by any means necessary. The Brazilian telenovela Isaura the Slave (2004) revolves around a mixed-heritage female slave with a white father and a mulatto mother during the early Imperial era when slavery was prevalent. She looks practically indistinguishable from a European woman, but is still a slave by heritage because of her biological mother. Even after being raised by her masters sorta like a lady, she still did the usual slave work like the others. Her unusual looks and her submissive position end up attracting her master's lust unfortunately. Subverted in the Hallmark version of Jason and the Argonauts. Hypsipyle offers the Argonauts her beautiful slaves as companions (though she gets Jason for herself). However it's all part of a trick to sacrifice the men to Artemis. The Mandalorian: Like his master before him, Bib Fortuna has a beautiful Twi'lek chained to his throne; unlike Oola, Fennec Shand sets her free before any harm can come to her. Merlin (2008) depicts Guinevere as a peasant who starts out as a serving girl to Morgana (who is King Uther's privileged ward in this universe). They downplayed it early on, dressing Angel Coulby down (to the degree that fans complained she wasn't pretty enough to be Guinevere) only to pay more attention to her appearance as Arthur fell in love with her. Rome. Titus Pullo is instantly smitten with Germanic slave girl Eirene and ends up marrying her (albeit after some rough patches like murdering her previous fiance in front of her). While beautiful, unlike other examples of this trope she is not played for fanservice. Spartacus: Blood and Sand: Made by STARZ and set in ancient Rome, most of the female slaves are this trope. Batiatus and Lucretia are fond of having slaves act as fluffers before they get down to business with each other. Ilythia has her handmaiden "stimulate" her at one point. Mira is (repeatedly) sent to Spartacus to serve this purpose, and is implied to have unwillingly done so many times before, possible for most of the ludus. To his credit, he turns her down as she is there against her consent and they later become consenting lovers. Lucretia makes a point of marking her personal attendant and preserving her virginity - to one day be promised as the mistress of another gladiator. Naevia is in this role when the series begins. In the prequel series, this was the case for her predecessor Melitta who is now the wife of Oenomaus. Pietros is a male example, though he and Barca genuinely love each other. Gnaeus on the other hand... Nasir also starts off as male example, but he quickly Takes a Level in Badass. For the rest of the series he is very much a warrior for all that he is a Long-Haired Pretty Boy. The prequel series reveals that this was how the House of Batiatus gained favour in the first place. Various Roman officials heard about the beautiful slave girls and thus kept coming to the ludus to see them. Quintus and Lucretia hated the idea, but did it to get their gladiators spots in the games. It marks part of their Start of Darkness. The Orion slave girls from Star Trek, though it's debated as to who's really in control. In an episode of Star Trek: Enterprise, this is subverted, because it turns out that Orion women rule their society, using hormones that Mind Control all men. This has become Fanon Discontinuity for obvious reasons, and the recent Star Trek (2009) film seems to have made this outright Canon Discontinuity. Also, Drusilla from the original series episode with the Ancient Rome planet. ("For this evening, I was told I am your slave. Command me.") In Dragon Age II, Hawke encounters an elven slave girl as part of the personal quest chain for party member Fenris, himself an escaped slave. After killing her mage master, you have the option to either let her go, take her as a slave yourself, or free her and offer her a job at your estate. The Elder Scrolls In the series' backstory, St. Alessia, the "Slave Queen", was one. She was born a slave to the Ayleids and was said to be quite attractive. She would later escape and, after praying to the Aedra for aid, would lead Cyrodiil's enslaved humans in a successful rebellion to overthrow the Ayleids, founding the first Empire of Men in Cyrodiil. In Morrowind, the quest to be named Zainab Nerevarine involves passing one off as a high-born Telvanni noble. However, only an attractive slave will do, so the PC is tasked with using an aphrodisiac known as Telvanni Bug Musk on her to make her irresistible. Thankfully, she likes her new role (as the bride of an Ashlander chief) better than her life as a slave. (Dialogue after the marriage indicates the chief knows full well what you did and approves of your cunning. It's implied that she finds him a better catch than anything she could have gotten otherwise and that he's just happy she's willing.) Eternal Darkness: One of the playable characters is Ellia, a young slave girl from Cambodia in a stripperiffic dress due to being a court dancer. The Mace: The Dark Age fighting game features an sexy harem girl named Namira as a playable fighter who fights with a scimitar. Persey in Tales of Arterra is an interesting variant of this: she's a succubus, and was therefore was deliberately created by a ruler of the hells to fit this trope. In Steven Universe, Pearls are made for and owned by high-ranking Gems as a status symbol. Peridot describes the main functions of Pearls as standing around, looking nice, and holding stuff. Though some, like Yellow Diamond's Pearl, act as a secretary or assistant for their owner.
