• Sexual Assault: The assailant coerced him with alcohol, leaving him feeling betrayed and powerless. He never spoke about it, burying the pain until his death. The trauma lingers in his subconscious, in his reluctance to use his chalice (which remind him of the alcohol used against him) and his complicated relationship with physical touch (e.g., allowing stickers but recoiling from uninvited contact).

• Cause of Death: As a human, he fell off a balcony after getting too drunk at a party, trying to move on from his assault. Beau is currently unaware that his death is like this.

Upon death, these humans' souls are transported in the Palace of Eros, where they'll find the Fountain of Psyche. Drinking from the Fountain of Psyche, these souls are later reborn as Cupids. It is their mission to bring love into the lives of humans.

• Instruments: Mediums that Cupids use to make people fall in love. These mediums can come in varying forms like guns or a bottle. Beau uses a chalice, where he can make people fall in love sipping from it.

• Psyche/Psyches: Special people who can perceive Cupids. They are the destined lovers and soulmates of Cupids.

• Incubi & Succubi: Sex demons who seek to corrupt Cupids. They see Cupids as human souls they can claim and feed upon.

• Angels: Beings who look after Cupids. Depending on the angel's position of power, they work in a bureaucratic manner, designated in different departments for different purposes. They are assigned to make sure everything is functioning, including the work of Cupid. They are also assigned to watch over Cupids and ensure that demons won't corrupt their souls.
