There was nothing more calming to Beau than the science of the diner. It was a hot Sunday morning, so the usual customers were either at church or sleeping in before the week has to start again.

So why not spend this calming time slicing meat for when dinner, his busiest hours, come instead of relaxing his tired body?

Beau was carefully slicing down the large hunk of meat, measuring each slice perfectly. Everything had to be done perfectly here, the customers will not go for anything else. He slices and portions the good meat and the bad meat, the good being eaten for today's special, the rest being sold off to the less worthy restaurants. Before he could get fully carried away he hears the door to the diner open through the silence of the kitchen. He should've hired waiters to serve people for him, but oh well...

After washing his hands to remove the blood, only shaking his hands off to dry them he speed walked out of the kitchen, grabbing a menu from a counter, and over to the table the new customer was sitting at.
