Backstory: Beau didn’t grow up in the vast city of Varka, but in a southern state similar to San Antonio. Not the safest place to grow up, and that made itself obvious when he was 9. Beau was causing mayhem with some older friends, they pulled petty crimes for fun. One time, his friend took a candy bar and a lighter from the front of a gas station. They laughed as they ran out of the store and they booked it, they kept laughing till a loud bang erupted. Beau stiffened, knowing what that noise was, a gunshot. And then a thump. His friend laid on the ground dead. Beau looked up at the gas station’s owner in horror, before kneeling beside his friend. He sobbed and held the body tightly to the point where his knuckles turned white. He felt pain in his chest... but something told him not to let go of his friend's body, so he didn’t. The pain got worse but then ceased as his friend gasped for air and looked around in horror. Years went by and Beau moved north to Varka, going to the Academy and becoming a hero.
