MISC INFORMATION [Height: 5’11’’] [Physical Description/image: Beatrix is a tall and athletically built succubus, bearing large wings, long tail, and swept back horns. She has the look of a well built woman with a focus on aesthetics yet practical strength, giving her larger arms and a firm, defined core. Her skin is a red shade, her hair flowing and dark, and her eyes a bright violet colour. She has sharp yet clean fangs and is often seen smiling, though from genuine happiness or unhinged desire is up to interpretation. Bea’s aesthetic choices are varied and she loves her own fashion sense, which can range from a simple t-shirt and jeans to full biker leathers to flowing formal gowns to club wear. She likes to call her personal look “outlaw gothic” with emphasis on chaps, studded leather, and wide brimmed hats. When she does wear jewelry, it is made of gold and bearing amethysts, her favourite gem. She wears hooped pentagram earrings and bangles, as well as her gold decoy ring.] [Backstory: Beatrix Cruise was born in the Ring of Lust to parents Harmony Vexyn-Cruise and Benito Cruise. Her mother is a well regarded children’s show host with her most popular program being Harmony’s Garden. Her father was a skilled race car driver and part of the official Lust Deathrace team. Beatrix herself lived a comfortable life comparatively in Hell and was raised in a relatively wholesome and complete family unit. Her parents took great care for Beatrix to not become another succubus whore, so they focused on educating her and encouraging interests and hobbies that could lead elsewhere in life.

Bea traveled all over Hell with both her parents. Her father took her to the various death races and she learned how to drive dangerously from him as well as basic mechanics from the pit crews. Her mother assisted Bea in learning the performing arts in hopes of stardom for her daughter. She encouraged Bea to learn to sing and dance on her volition, Bea learned to play the guitar. While Harmony was not pleased with Bea at the desire to be a rockstar, rock and roll being a dime a dozen in Hell, she supported her. As far as Bea was concerned, her future was secured in some manner and she had what many in Hell would have killed for; caring parents who supported their daughter.

This being Hell, it was never meant to last.

Death races being what they were, it was only a matter of time until one caught up with Beatrix’s father, Benito. During a race, his car was pushed off the road and into a violent conflagration of hellfire not by an opposing team, but by his own partner. Beatrix was present at the race and rushed to her father’s side. He did not die, but the injuries left him crippled and impotent, which to an incubus, may as well have been death. His attitude changed after he recovered. He stayed home and drank and spent most of his time gambling. Soon he and Harmony got into fights, with Harmony spending more time in the studio over her family. Beatrix focused on her work as a performer under her mother’s insistence, perhaps to distance her from her father, or simply to give her something else to keep up with rather than her father’s struggles.

When Beatrix turned eighteen, she achieved her Asmodean crystal with her mother’s guidance. The two took a trip together to Earth for a month, visiting various places like Europe and America. One of Beatrix’s favourite places was Mexico where she quickly picked up the language with aid. She even shifted her disguise to be more latina in nature.

At nineteen, Beatrix was allowed to perform at a music festival, Sinapalooza. It was not a major festival, but Harmony insisted it was a good stepping stone. She even gifted Beatrix a new guitar, a prized E&S 666 King V. Beatrix dolled herself up like a rockstar and wrote and practiced her playlist for the show. However, the demon that was to be her manager took a liking to her and desired a more intimate relationship over a professional one. Beatrix politely declined. When he pushed the issue, she not-so-politely declined. When threatened, Beatrix replied by beaning him over the head with her guitar. She did not know that the manager was the son of a Goetian President and while the lowest rank of Goetia, he was still one of the noble houses. Only Harmony’s extensive contacts prevented her daughter from getting into major trouble, though Beatrix had been cursed to “never eat lunch in this town again.” And to this day, she cannot physically eat lunch in the ring of Lust. More consequentially, Beatrix felt she could not continue her music career and felt hopeless.

Young and in need of money, Beatrix fell into the same lifestyle so many succubi did. She took jobs at skeevy restaurants and bars, and performed as a stripper at a club.
