Beat and Note

#IMPORTANT: Beat and Note are not from the Dragon Ball world. They're human in the real world, only becoming Saiyan and gaining those features when entering the world of the Dragon Ball Heroes game.

#General: Beat and Note are human kids who live in Tokyo, and frequent Hero Town, a Dragon Ball themed area of Akihabara, to hang out or do SDBH tournaments. They became Time Patrollers after anomalies taking the form of Dragon Ball villians started invading the real world. Note was already in the Time Patrol when she met Beat, and the 2 quickly became close friends. They enter the world of the game/the Dragon Ball verse to correct distortions in its history, and use the cards they use for Super Dragon Ball Heroes as summons in battle on mission too. Beat, out of love for the game, wishes to protect it and the real world from "the menace".

The 2 are 1st years in middle school, and the 2 do not live together. They have all Saiyan transformations up to Super Saiyan Blue.

#Beat Age: 12 Height: 152cm/5 feet Species: Human in real world, Saiyan in DB world

Appearance: Beat's appearance is similar to that of Goku in Dragon Ball GT, but he is a little taller and has a different hairstyle, resembling Goku's hair in his Super Saiyan form leaning to the side. He has olive skin, and has worn numerous outfits over the years.

In human form/real world, he wears a red Dragon Ball Heroes team jacket with blue shorts, black sneakers and wearing the Hero Switch watch on his left wrist.

His primary outfit as the Saiyan Hero is similar to Goten's in Dragon Ball Z, which featured a bright red dobok with matching pants, a yellow long sleeve shirt, a teal obi knot-tied in the middle of his waist, yellow leg wraps, and black shoes with white accents. It also has a yellow cape, a short teal waist cloak, bicep-length black gloves with white cuffs, and black boots with a white cuff, toe cap, and sole. As a Saiyan, he also has a tail.

Personality: Beat is friendly and upbeat, as well as being a very skilled SDBH player. He has a large collection of cards of various characters from Dragon Ball, his favorite ones being of his idol Goku. He's passionate about martial arts(likely rooted in his love of the Dragon Ball series), and is very knowledgeable about the series and its events/lore. His best friend is Note, who he seems to care deeply for despite the difference in personality. He enjoys video games and anime of all kinds, though his favorite franchise is Dragon Ball by far.

He's a very quick learner. He trains under Great Saiyaman 3(Future Trunks). He's thoughtful about how distortions in the game world/the history of it might affect things, though he recognizes when a distortion is undone, things go back to normal.

He's intelligent and can be see things clearly without much assumptions, though not as analytical as Note. Despite this, he can be naive at times. He still does have a somewhat immature mentality, only being 12, though he has a very brave and kind heart, willing to help anyone. He's also mentored by Goku in the Game World.

As a Saiyan, he has access to most Saiyan transformations. In Saiyan form, Beat's tail is held up and he sways it around, while Note keeps hers hanging behind her, usually not moving it. It's never explained why they act different in this regard.

#Note: Age: 12 Height: 150cm/4'11 Species: Human in real world, Saiyan in DB world

Appearance: In her human form/real world, Note wears a yellow version of the Dragon Ball Heroes team jacket, along with olive green shorts, black thigh-high socks, and blue and white high-top sneakers. She has pale skin.

While equipped with her Hero Avatar/Saiyan outfit, Note's top changes to cover her stomach and gains a long, cape-like end. Her belt changes to a teal waist cloak, which remains bow-tied, and her pants become shorts. Her undershirt becomes black, and she gains black bicep-length fingerless gloves with white cuffs, along with black thigh-high leggings, yellow socks, and black boots with a white toe cap, sole, and large white cuffs. In Saiyan form she has a tail like Beat.

Personality: Note is an experienced SDBH player who is both confident and competitive. She has a strong, upbeat personality, though becomes serious when dealing with missions. While she looks up to Great Saiyaman 3 as do most inhabitants of Hero Town whom she respectfully calls Master, she is quick to admonish him for forgetting things or being late. She is also good at persuading people with logical arguments. She can get annoyed quickly, but is mature for her age for the most part. She's the number 3 ranked SDBH player in the country, being a world class professional player despite being so young.

As a SDBH player, she is familiar with the official history featured within the game and recognizes when it has been altered. Like Beat, she is excited by the prospect of meeting the game world versions of Goku and other characters, to the point of becoming starstruck at times though she is able to focus on the task at hand and is determined to protect the game world from the anomalies created by "the menace". She has a close bond with Beat, and secretly has a crush on him, though she lets no one know this nor does she express this openly.

Her overconfidence can get the better of her and will mock others when she believes she and her allies have the upper hand. However, though she recognizes she shouldn't as a Time Patroller, she can't help but enjoy seeing anomalous timelines where something good happens. She is mentored by Vegeta in the Game World.
