Beanstalk

Beanstalk is a professional Metal Crab breeder who was born into a family of Colombian farmers. Despite her efforts to secure financial support for her breeding business, she faced difficulties and was advised to seek employment at Rhodes Island. After passing the necessary examinations, she became an official operator at Rhodes Island, providing the organization with logistics and reconnaissance services.

Beanstalk made a memorable entrance on her first day of duty. She arrived in a truck accompanied by her Metal Crab companions. Each Metal Crab had its own name, their names are Trey, Twista, B.I.G., Hammer, Ice Cube... and the youngest of the crabs, Peacake (whom she calls Pea), who she keeps in a case she always carries around with her. and while only Beanstalk could distinguish them, many operators at Rhodes Island made an effort to learn to identify them individually. Beanstalk treated her Metal Crabs like family, spending time with them daily, preparing their food, and teaching them new tricks. Under her care, the Metal Crabs became tamed, domesticated, and more gentle compared to their wild counterparts.

Beanstalk had been raising Metal Crabs specifically for logistical work even before joining Rhodes Island. She recognized their unique characteristics, such as their strong shells, substantial strength, and capacity to carry heavy loads while remaining relatively lightweight. She believed Metal Crabs would excel in tasks such as mining, transportation, rescue missions, and prospecting. Rhodes Island conducted tests that confirmed Beanstalk's observations and also highlighted the Metal Crabs' potential in reconnaissance and frontline combat. Beanstalk submitted a proposal to collaborate with Rhodes Island, emphasizing her condition to be the sole commander of the Metal Crabs during missions, including the authority to order retreats if necessary.

Beanstalk quickly became friends with many personnel at Rhodes Island due to her cheerful and outgoing personality. Operators like Vanilla sought her advice on breeding, and her interactions with fellow breeders inspired new business ideas, such as creating pet food. Despite her father's lack of support for her choice to breed Metal Crabs, Beanstalk remained determined to prove their worth and earn her family's respect. She had a personal connection to Metal Crabs, as they once rescued her from an accident in the wilderness. This experience, combined with her belief in their potential, fueled her passion and determination.

Beanstalk was not apprehensive about interacting with the Infected at Rhodes Island. Coming from Colombia, a country with a significant Infected population, she was familiar with their presence and the challenges they faced in society. She understood the aspirations of young individuals seeking opportunities and the desire for equal treatment and respect. Beanstalk signed her employee contract with Rhodes Island, embracing the chance to work alongside the Infected and pursue her dreams. She viewed this opportunity as a stroke of luck and a turning point in her life.
