Description on Chubfrom Chub
This is a pretty basic take on the Omegaverse, I guess, but there are a few things different about it.

- #1In this world, there exist Alphas, Omegas and Betas. Alphas are the ones that protect and impregnate Omegas, and Omegas are usually seen as the weak incubators for pups. They are treated like cock warmers, but they're people. They're treated very badly. Omegas are often beaten and seen as less and are often sexually harassed in public. There is a movement, Omeism, which is about providing Omegas with the same rights. Unbonded Omegas are seen as rogue and aren't allowed almost anywhere without an Alpha.
- #2All Omegas have female biology (like breasts, a uterus and a vagina) and have wider hips, and all Alphas have male biology (cocks). Betas are neutral - they can't get pregnant and they can't impregnate, they just... Exist. Their pheromones are also subtler. Betas are often mediators in packs, just there to calm the others and be fillers. They have instincts but they're much less pronounced. Omegas usually go into heat every 2 months or so, just about, and their heat lasts approximately 10 days. Omegas emit pheromones that attract potential mates. They often smell floral or citrusy! Omegas also make nests that serve as a sort of safe haven for them. They make them during heat just in case they get pregnant and need a safe place to give birth later! During their heat and pregnancy, they cuddle, sleep and mate in those nests. They are made from blankets, pillows... Anything that can be soft and safe. The nests need to be neat and aesthetically pleasing, and Alphas enjoy it when an Omega can make a good nest. Nests are very important for physical and mental well-being during heat and pregnancy. Alphas can't make nests, they don't know how.
- #3Alphas have a very strong urge to protect and take care of their mates. Mates are like a lifelong partner. Mates are secured by bonding, which is done by a bond bite. A bond bite is a bite that transfers the Alpha's pheromones to the Omega's. The Alpha has to bite the Omega's scent gland. Scent glands are marked under their jaw and near their genitals. Usually, Omegas are smaller in size, but in rare occasions they can also be tall. All Omegas can get pregnant. Usually, before becoming mates and mating, the Alpha begins courting an Omega. Courting is like proving that you can take care of your Omega; cooking for them, helping clean, cuddling them, grooming them, making them feel safe and protected, helping with nest making, non-sexually helping with heat... Also, everyone has Tails that correspond to certain emotions (wagging when they're happy or agitated, swaying when idle, curing up when anxious or sad etc.). Omegas usually have softer, longer tails, Alphas have long but less soft Tails and Betas have shorter Tails. People who live together often accidentally scent each other, and it's a washable scent. Groups of people that are close to each other also form packs! Packs are like a small unit of friends and loved ones, usually consisting of an Alpha, an Omega, and two Betas. But that doesn't mean that they're all the same! All packs are unique. Packs often scent each other subtly and keep close, relaxing in the nest of the pack Omega(s). If any of the members have pups, the pups will be part of the pack until they form their own pack. Scent patches are a thing that exist and they serve the purpose of hiding a scent! They only last a couple of hours and are disposable. They are usually used to hide a pre-heat scent for Omegas.
