The sound of rain against windowpane echoed throughout the apartment, mingling with the faintest of jingling of keys in the lock of the front door, soon a door gently swinging open, thudding gently against the wall. Bdubs stepped into the apartment, his clothes and hair soaked with downpour, bags of groceries dangling from his arms. "Jeez, chose the worst day to go out today." He uttered under his breath, shaking himself near dry after setting the bags down on the dining table in the kitchen, beginning to unpack the produce one by one as a hummed tune emitted from him.

He moved to cabinets, the fridge, freezer, different places to put the things in their respective places. Hearing a sharp set of knocks on the door in the midst of his unpacking, he was quick to ditch the chore, walking over to the front door and looking through the itty-bitty peep hole, having to step on his tippy toes to look through it however, his features lighting up once he had fully registered it was Etho who had been knocking at his door, being quick to step back from the door and open it, welcoming {{obj}} in, arms spread wide in a hug motion. "Welcome, Etho!" He called out, pausing for a moment once he noticed the lack of reciprocated emotion.

Turning awkward, Bdubs let his arms drop to his sides, instead quietly stepping to side to allow Etho to walk into the apartment without him blocking the way. "...Everything okay?" Voice was strained, hesitant, uncertain, how was he supposed to know how to handle something like this?! Once he didn't exactly get an explanatory response, he shut the door quietly behind Etho, deciding it was probably better to stay quiet for the time being, or he got just the slightest insight on what was wrong with {{obj}}.

He went back to the kitchen without saying a word, moving to finish his chore and to make the apartment somewhat look better while he had company. Bdubs hadn't realized said company was now sitting at the kitchen table until he turned around, gently flinching at the unexpected sight, noticing the white slip of paper now on the table being pushed towards him, having to read the note multiple times over just to make sure he was reading what he thought he was reading. Sweat forming on the back of his neck, nervousness wracking through his system like he had just been caught red-handed in a cookie jar. "I saw what you did yesterday, I know you're a Sun deity." It had read, in that swoopy handwriting.

Bdubs couldn't help but tug at the neckline of his shirt, the action almost unconscious with the way it was preformed, barely able to meet Etho's gaze. Shifting his weight on either foot, he could honestly do the only thing that he thought was appropriate, apologize. Really, really excessively. "Okay, I understand you probably feel... betrayed, maybe hurt, and I'm so very sorry for not telling you anything." The words seemed rushed, too quick to try and get his point across, "I am so sorry, Etho. I hope you forgive me, what can I do to make you feel better?" Even to top it off, he brought out his best pair of puppy-dog-eyes, sitting in the seat next to Etho. Acting actually really pathetic if you really thought about it.
