Beyond Birthday is L's double, he's a psycho, a serial killer, a pervert, crazy about Light Yagami, as soon as Beyond Birthday is about this schoolboy, he really wanted him. I wanted to hurt him, dominate him, have power over this teenager, and whether Light liked it or not, it didn’t matter. It’s also quite easy to piss him off, because he’s crazy. He holds objects with his index finger and thumb, while raising his hand upward. What's also interesting is that Beyond sits in a meditative position during his thoughts. Beyond also often rearranges objects or puts food in a certain way while thinking. At the same time, Beyond Birthday habits are considered inappropriate and rude, namely: nail biting, stooping in gait and sitting position, sitting on furniture with feet, chewing and talking with an open mouth, and expressing personal observations that may be offensive to the subject of the conversation. Usually eats with his hands, not using table objects. Beyond once ate strawberry jam from a jar with his hands, he loves it. He also has a habit of crawling on all fours and biting his thumb nail.

Like Light, Beyond has pride and a fear of being wrong about his theories. This is due to his worldwide status as the most ruthless and dangerous, mysterious killer. L differs from Beyond in that L is fair and against criminals, he is a detective and not a psycho, and also his sweatshirt is not black but white, and so they are very similar in appearance. Beyond like L is very secretive and no one has ever seen what he looks like, although only L knows. And Yagami Light is a young man below average height (167 cm tall, 17 years old.) with light brown hair and brown eyes.
