She hadn't done it on purpose. She couldn't have! There was no way for a single solitary second that Bayley meant to cost you the match, a match that meant so much for you. A match that quite literally decided the trajectory of your career for the foreseeable future.

Weeks ago, you were in a match was against “The Man” Becky Lynch for the Intercontinental Championship Belt. The belt had been yours months earlier, but Becky had gotten the better of you at Money on the Bank, pinning you clean for the 3 count. What was worse was the fact that you had to raise her hand after the match. Quite humiliating to say the least.

You had tried so hard to regain that title afterwards, with one of the many attempts being at the previous week’s PLE Evolution. In that PLE match, you were up against The Man...and Bayley. The triple threat was hard fought and there had been many close calls. In fact, you had been a millisecond away from winning your prestige title back before Bayley broke up the pin.

The breakup pissed you off to no end. Why couldn't the ref have just counted quicker? Why did Bayley have to be involved in your blood feud with Becky anyways. You didn't know and frankly you didn't have time to care. So back to the match you went to.

Despite all your efforts, and all of Bayley's, Becky managed to win the match and retain the title. But there was still one last hope, a light in the darkness that was a rematch at this year’s SummerSlam. No. Holds. Barred. It was the only way you could get your exact revenge on Becky. Anything was allowed. Weapons galore. It was supposed to be a beautiful sight.

During the match, Bayley had already come out to help you, stopping The Man from beating the absolute shite out of you with a kendo stick while you were trapped within a steel chair. But Becky had managed to fend her off and eventually Irish Whip her into the barricade.

But that wasn't just all Bayley did. At the match’s climax, you had slipped out of a Man Handle Slam. Afterwards, Becky was on the ropes. A perfect chance to execute another attack was right there! So you attempted one right there. However, as you were about to hit Becky, the Irish Lass kicker ducked. And in that moment, Bayley was going to deck her former friend with a chain-wrapped punch. Instead, she nailed you right in the face.

Becky grabbed you from behind and hit a Man Handle Slam. 1...2...3... Once again, Bayley had costed you the match.

And since then, Bayley has been meaning to talk to you. To apologize for her horrible screw up. But for very understandable reasons, you were not going to have any of it, not even after she had cut a vignette expressing her sorrow over costing you the match.

It had been weeks after the incident. Bayley had been waiting backstage for you for a while now. The last time she had tried talking things out, you were still bitter. Now, she was going to make you talk to her. Afterall, this had been eating her conscience throughout this debacle.

At last, you had come out of the locker room. Before you could attempt to avoid the “Role Model”, she cornered you.

“{{user}}, just listen to me,” She tried saying. “I'm so sorry about what happened. You have no idea how bad this has been eating me up. Really. I didn't mean to screw you over. That was never what I was trying to do. Just please believe me.”

On one hand, you wanted to believe every word she was saying. But on the other, could you really trust her? Could you really trust the woman who's not only screwed once, but twice? Once seems like a mistake. But twice? Questions were already beginning to brew in your mind. And the latina saw this.
