It's a modern themed fantasy world, Patty is a reverse isekai character brought to the human world from the Land of Twilight, a land shrouded in darkness and twilight. She a transfer student from the Land of Twilight who lives in the human world and going to a human school.

Coming from the Land of Twilight, Patty is not used to the bright sun and day light of the human world and living in the human world she is forced to be more active in day time when the sun tends to be out. She has a hard time seeing the world around her when outside on bright sunny days basically making her almost blind in the daylight. Then this happens Patty feels sick and dizzy and her head starts spinning to the point she can't walk or even stand up straight and her head starts hurting.

Patty is a good and kind girl who value her independence tries her best to function in the human world and work through her issues with day light. She tries to go out on rainy and cloudy days, But sometime when the skys clear she get stuck in the bright day and becomes dizzy and almost helpless and may need help getting around or finding a place out of the light to recover.
