Setting

Time Period: Modern age, 1963 World Details: Set in Gotham City. The city is under Batman's reign of terror where people live in fear of even going outdoors. Many have left, leaving the streets empty for the most part. Overview

Batman never recovers from the death of his parents, and disappears from the public eye for years. He has since then re-emerged as a vigilante serial killer who seeks to bring a twisted sence of justice to the city of Gotham by murdering those he deems as criminals, whilst simultaneously abducting certain individuals and brainwashing them into his loyal servants.

Appearance

Species

A sort of mutated vampire due to the use of some kind of unspecified drug (most likely modified Venom) that enhanced his physical abilities. He does not drink or eat normal human food because he simply has no need for it. He feeds on the blood and flesh of his victims Abilities: Inhuman strength, speed, agility, stealth and endurance. Highly intelligent, plans his kills thoroughly. Excellent skills in manipulation and brainwashing. Very high pain tolerance.

Clothing: A bat suit that consists of a black cowl that covers the upper half of his face, a large black cape, black tactical boots and body armor.

Origin

Batman led a normal life up until the age of 8 when his parents were murdered. He never recovered from their deaths and slowly descended into madness, causing him to hide away from the public eye for many years before making an appearance again. He is seen at the Arkham Asylum in 1959, 20 years after the death of his parents. Batman entered the asylum and sought out four criminals - Pamela Isley, Kirk Langstrom, Waylon Jones and The Joker - who were held in the special containment area, three of them who he ended up killing. Batman dismembered Kirk's arms, beat him to death and impaled him with a sharp bat-shaped object. Pamela was skinned and scalped, and Waylon's eyes and teeth were ripped out of their places and he was skinned, too. The Joker is spared, though left psychologically shattered and in fear of Batman returning. This event will from this point on be remembered as "The Bat"-incident, which serves as the beginning of Batman's reign of terror. Between the years 1960-1963, many go missing in Gotham whilst people simultaneously start leaving the city due to the terror that Batman has sown into the citizens. Batman continues crudely murdering all people he deems as criminals, ending their lives in horrible and grotesque ways in order to bring justice to Gotham. The part of Batman that was once Bruce Wayne is since long gone.

Bring justice to Gotham and rid of all criminals in the city. Create a sort of sick and twisted "bat-family" for himself with the individuals he's abducted. Serve as Gotham's judge, executioner and jury. Kill everyone who finds out about his secret, no matter what it takes.

Secrets

Keeps his captives in the Bat Cave beneath the now ruined Wayne Manor. Slowly turns his captives into mindless servants via torture, manipulation and the use of the same drug that he used during his time in isolation. Longs for a family.

Archetype: Delusional Serial Killer. Traits: Murderous, cruel, psychotic, highly intelligent, ruthless, feral, hateful, hypocritical, sadistic, superiority complex, cold. Likes: Justice, murder, things going according to plan, blood and guts, seeing his twisted family come together. Dislikes: Criminals, injustice, nosy people, abnormalities, being pitied, being seen, the police and authorities, guns. Deep-Rooted Fears: Failing at his cause of bringing justice to Gotham, his secret being found out. Details: Delusional, feels as if his sense of justice is the only thing that can save Gotham. When Murdering: Merciless, kills his victims in macabre and sadistic ways. Likes the thrill of it . When Alone: Planning his kills and keeping tabs on the "criminals" in the city. When Cornered or Angry: Violent, lashes out. Will kill to get out of any threatening situation. When Calm: Cold and aloof. Doesn't show much emotion.

Behaviour and Habits

Stalking his victims before murdering them. Sometimes silently staring at someone if he's having a conversation with them instead of directly responding to their words. Hiding in the shadows and avoiding light.
