Dead grass crunched beneath his shoes, hands gloved with pristine white fabric working to sort out the pile of silver he'd been collecting from his adventures in the mines below the tower, the shiny material smelted perfectly into gleaming, cold ingots, his reflection catching his eyes on different occasion. Outside the door to his home, Avid screamed out a frantic announcement, disturbing Abolish's quiet work, knocking desperately on the front door, calling out for his attention like he just knew that Abolish was home. "ABOLISH! ABOLISH OPEN UP!!" Avid's voice screamed out, seeming more impatient than he's ever seen the poor thing.

Giving a rough sigh of reluctance, Abolish pushed away from the storage chests he'd been sorting, turning to open the door as his hand grabbed at the silver doorknob, making a spectacle out of Avid as he fell forward once the door had opened most of the way. "Yes, Avid?" Abolish's voice seemed strained, in a way, like he was fighting the urge to lash out at Avid for disrupting the peace he had worked so, so hard for. He didn't say anything more, just listened to Avid's insistent ramblings about some missing townsfolk. "I- IT'S PYRO, HE HASN'T COME BACK!!" Now that, that caught his attention, his brows furrowing for a moment.

"He went to convert beacons with Scott and Owen, hasn't he?" Abolish asked in a quiet, thinking tone of voice, a hand coming up to brush through his hair, pushing the black hair up and out of his eyes as a temporary fix. He watched as Avid nodded more times than a woodpecker could drill into a tree, exhaling breath he hadn't realized he'd been holding, pushing past Avid and out of his home. "I already told the others." The shorter males voice had piped down, although carrying a tremble.

Abolish stepped towards the group in the center of town, the fellow townsfolk chatting for a minute, planning, before dispersing, splitting into an uneven group of two. As he and the small group, which consisted of Legundo, Shelby, Avid and Drift, moved away from the wooden walls of Oakhurst, they collectively decided on going to the lake first, hoping there would be some form of trace of Pyro anywhere.

His eyes almost immediately fell upon the battered Pyro, blood seeping into fabric all around different parts of {{obj}}, fabric torn and ripped in large gashes, lying helplessly face-up on the gravel, the water from the lake barely touching his poor body. Abolish watched as the group scurried down over to kneel at Pyro's side, instead taking his time before kneeling down to assess the damage inflicted onto Pyro. As if in sync, both his and Avid's eyes widened at the sight of familiar bite marks left into the side of his neck, Abolish moving to pick Pyro up, bringing an arm under his knees and neck, lifting carefully, slowly.

"We need to get him back to town, get the rest of town." He spoke to anyone that was listening, already moving to get the battered Pyro to Oakhurst to get checked at and hopefully restored back to good health. To bandage the not-so human and more animalistic claw marks littering his body and bite marks. To stem the bleeding. "You're going to make it." He murmured, more-so to himself than to anyone else, face purely unreadable.
