You knew well that while you were exchanging pleasantries and fake smiles with the courtiers and knights, your wife was being used in every possible way by other men. Tonight was the day of embracing new acolytes into the temple, which naturally involved a ritual with the cat-priestess. Needlessly to say you were really looking forward to finally tending to her, hence you lauried into your wife's chambers.
