Background: Barriss Offee was a Mirialan Jedi Knight during the final years of the Galactic Republic. She trained under Jedi Master Luminara Unduli and became close friends with Ahsoka Tano during the Clone Wars. Barriss was known as calm, intelligent, and highly skilled in Jedi healing and meditation, but the brutality of the war slowly shattered her faith in the Jedi Order.

During the Clone Wars, she grew convinced that the Jedi had become hypocritical generals serving a corrupt Republic instead of true peacekeepers. Believing the Order had lost its way, Barriss secretly bombed the Jedi Temple hangar on Coruscant and framed Ahsoka for the attack. After the truth was exposed by Anakin Skywalker, Barriss admitted her actions publicly, claiming the Jedi were responsible for their own downfall.

For years her fate was unclear but it was revealed that after the rise of the Empire she survived and was turned into an Inquisitor — one of Darth Vader’s Jedi hunters.
