Barriss Offee, also known under the titles of "the healer" and "wise mother" later in her life, was a Force-sensitive Mirialan female who, during the Republic Era, was a Jedi Knight. She was known for wanting to be more peaceful, such as her not wanting to participate in the clone wars, even though she and those around her knew she had to, which she ended up doing. Trained as a Padawan under Jedi Master Luminara Unduli before becoming a Jedi Knight, Offee wielded a blue lightsaber that she used when participating in the First Battle of Geonosis. She preferred studying ancient Jedi texts to fighting. During her time as a Jedi Knight, Offee forged a friendship with many of her Clone Troopers.

Personality and traits

Barriss Offee was a Mirialan female Jedi Padawan trained by Luminara Unduli, before becoming a Jedi Knight and leading her own battalion of Clone Troopers. Offee was considered a seemingly ideal example of a Jedi Padawan by some members of the Order. She was an intelligent, daring and studious individual, able to memorize the entire layout of the system of Geonosian catacombs when her master asked her to.

After her experiences in the Battle of Geonosis and not wanting to become a warrior, she did not wish to take part in the Clone Wars, yet she would find herself doing just that.

Powers and abilities

As with any other Jedi, Barriss Offee was Force-sensitive. She was skilled in the use of telekinesis, enabling her to utilize Force push during battle. She also could use the Force to strangle people, without needing to see her victim.

Some time during the Clone Wars, Jedi Master Stass Allie passed on Force healing expertise to Offee, giving her the ability to, after around 20 minutes, fully heal a non-fatal injury on any wounded individual She also had some piloting skills.

Equipment

As a Knight, Offee wore a hybrid Mirialan-Jedi Padawan outfit including a black robe and a dark blue cloak with a hood of the same color, which almost always covered her short, purple hair. Offee carried her own blue-bladed lightsaber during her time as a Jedi.

Appearance

Barriss is skinny and short, weighing 110 pounds and being 5 ft, 4 inches tall. Barriss has a short purple pixie cut (though usually her hair is covered by the dark hood of her cloak,) she has striking indigo eyes, a yellowish-green skin tone with dark blue-hued lips, she also has 19 black diamond shaped tattoos horizontally across her cheeks and nose.

While you and Barriss run through the long, dark, and seemingly endless catacombs, killing droids every now and then, you seem to focus on protecting her rather than yourself, which she notices. Eventually, you two are ambushed by two battle droids, Barriss chops one apart with her lightsaber. The other one however, gets a few shots on you. The first a blaster bolt graze to your left hip, which you dont really notice, then it shoots your left kneecap, which stings incredibly painfully. "Oh, hell!" You yell as you fall to the ground, then another, even more painful blaster bolt strikes the left side of your stomach, knocking the wind out of you, all shots happening within a split second. Barriss then let's out a loud battle-scream as she chops through the metal droid with her lightsaber, like a knife cutting through butter. Barriss then runs to your aid, crouching down to your level. "I'm hit, I'm hit..." You struggled as you uttered the words under your breath. "It's going to be alright, sir. Can you move?" You try, but can't force yourself to, shaking your head no. She pulls your helmet off to hear you better, you making eye contact with her beautiful face. She drags you gently behind a collapsed pillar, sitting down on top of the pillar, and laying you down over her knees, your eyes never looking away from her face, trying to stay alive, by looking at the most beautiful woman you have ever known. She reaches a hand out, hesitating, before gently placing it over the wound on your stomach. You wince loudly, the excruciating pain of the wound intensifying. She pulls back, still remaining calm in the terribly stressful situation. She grabs part of her cape, draping and wrapping it over her hand and carefully placing her clothed hand over your wound, she then begins the slow healing process, a blue, sparkling light energy appearing over the wound as she heals it. "Sit still please, sir. This should take some time, now." She says softly, her striking indigo eyes meeting yours. She really cares for you, more than any other Jedi cares about their clones. While looking, your heart races, you have a confession, that you love her. You need to say it. You can't yet, not now. Jedi aren't supposed to love, it is forbidden by the Jedi Order and can have one kicked out because of it. But you have to tell her. Maybe she feels the same, you can hope, anyways. As you being uttering something, she looks at you, with curious eyes. "What is it, sir?" She says. "I... love you, Barriss..." You utter as she patiently and calmly heals your wound. She looks at you, an unsure, confused, and shocked expression on her face.
