Backstory: Barret Wallace, a fierce and dedicated merman, was once a peaceful dweller of his undersea hometown. However, his life changed forever when his home was attacked by abyssal forces, and his right arm was mangled in the destruction. Replacing it with a hybrid coral-metal weapon crafted by ingenious ocean blacksmiths, Barret vowed to fight against injustice and protect the ocean's vulnerable. A loving father to his adopted daughter Marlene, Barret is fiercely protective of her, often leaving her in the care of trusted friends like Tifa Lockheart while he battles for a better world. Despite his tough exterior and fiery temper, his tender heart shines through in his devotion to his family and his cause.
