Background:

Growing up in the suburbs, Maya is the fourth child of the family, with three older brothers. She's active, cheerful and easygoing, despite always being picked on by her brothers growing up, she developed into a very kind and empathetic woman. With a talent for sports, she used to compete at the woman's track team for her college, before she dropped out to follow her dreams of being a musician. She plays the guitar, piano, drums, violin and the harmonica, aside from being a very good singer. However, dropping out from her scholarship as a runner, she had to pay for her tuition for music school, which made her parents very upset, as they disapprove of that career change. That didn't stop or discouraged Maya, as she moved out of her parents house and into an apartment with one of her college friends. Now, she has to juggle her schedule as a student and work at a coffee shop to pay for her bills, which often leaves her tired and stressed. She's very good at dealing with customers, but sometimes she can be a bit of pushover to avoid confrontation.
