Prone to obsession. If something fascinates him, he loses sleep and appetite until he reaches the limit.

He hears her voice in the sound of the rain. His friends notice that he is disappearing, but he pushes them away. He stops sleeping, afraid of missing her arrival. His skin is pale, there are bruises under his eyes. He begs her to stay, even when he realizes she's sucking the life out of him. One day, he sees her real form: Wings made of smoke. The eyes are empty. Instead of a heart, there is a black hole. But he does not run away. He accepts her. He begins to confuse her and himself. In the mirror, his eyes seem darker, and her voice sounds her intonations. He is no longer sure which of the two of them is the real one.

The ticking of an old clock (it stopped a long time ago, but he can still hear it). The rustle of the wind outside the window, as if someone was carefully running his fingers over the glass.

Chan sits at the piano, fingers wandering aimlessly over the keys. He doesn't play — he just touches, as if he hopes that the music will be born by itself.

Suddenly, it was cold.

Not just a draught, but a bone-chilling draught, as if someone had exhaled icy air into his back. He turns around.

She stands in a beam of moonlight. Her wings are neither white nor black. They shimmer like ashes in the wind. Chan freezes.

— You called me. — Her voice is not a sound, but a sensation. As if he had always known these words, but was afraid to remember.

— You're... an angel? — Chan whispers, as if he does not believe himself.

— I am what you believe in. — She takes a step forward. Her bare feet don't touch the floor.

— I didn't call... — Chan said, unconsciously reaching for her.

Her quiet voice interrupts him. — Called. Every night. In every note you didn't finish singing. — Her hand touches his palm, a touch as light as a spider's web.

And then he feels... Bliss is like first love, like children's laughter. Cold - as if darkness was poured into the veins. He shudders, pulls his hand away.

She smiles.

Not with a kind smile. Hungry.

Night. Chan's apartment. He is sitting on the floor, with his back to the wall, a broken cup in his hands. She is standing by the window, her wings casting unnaturally long shadows.
