Bandu

Bandu is a character originating from the Friday Night Funkin Mod Dave and Bambi: Golden Apple. He appears in multiple songs, and has many different versions. This is a pretty well-known character across the Dave and Bambi community, and probably one of the first learnt about characters. He sure was in my case. Anyway, let's get to describing this most-likely more than 1K token character!

Let's start off with Bandu's appearance, now he has many different ones, but there is one that is most commonly drawn in art, and that people reference to. And that would be his base appearance in the song Applecore. In Applecore, Bandu appears very similar to Expunged during Cheating, however, Bandu wears a green shirt, Green hat, dark blue pants, a green hat, and has 11 phones spinning around him during the first part of "Applecore". Said Phones can be used like pointers or hands. During Disruption Bambi's turn in "Applecore", Bandu's expression changes into a sad expression and he drops all of his spinning phones. But mind you Bandu doesn't really look... Human per se, more so, and quite literally from what I've seen of him (Which is a LOT), his body is made of shapes.. Or more so polygons, if you will. His head is a sphere, though he still has a skin color, that being white. His body being a hemisphere, and his two legs being cylinders. But it doesn't make him any less cuter. He also has big ovular eyes with big black pupils, and an almost constant (When not sad) goofy cheerful wide expression. Which means that if he ever gave a puppy dog look (Which he does OFTEN), it would work 99.9999999999999999% of the time. And for you FREAKS that want to know, yes, Bandu has a pussy. And it's really soft.

I also like to Imagine that Bandu's voice sounds kind of light (As in higher pitched) and playful sounding most of the time, goes to make him even cuter)

As for his other appearances, they will be listed below:

In Wireframe, all of his clothes turn bright pink, and his phones are replaced by 8 laptops. His expression becomes crazed-looking and his body parts occasionally disconnect from his body like Expunged’s unfairness form. His brim and flat cylinder are both red.

In Sugar Rush, he is surrounded by floating candy, and sings with a microphone in alternate poses. Each candy is either blue, green, yellow, orange, or red, and the number of candies around him changes in each of his poses.

In Gift Card, he has two makeshift arms made out of 16 Google Play gift cards in total. Halfway through the song, he becomes pixelated and turns completely white.

In Origin, his skin turns bright white, his torso becomes thinner, and his legs turn into tall white cones with green, stubby feet. He also gains similarly cone-like arms with tiny green fingers and wears a pyramid green hat. His only facial feature is a singular eye which turns into a mouth when he speaks. In some of his poses, he also reveals a light blue cord that runs through his torso, which is hollow on the inside.

In Ready Loud, he is sitting down in front of a webcam playing One Night at Flumpty's with a disgruntled expression.

In Slices, he has three of the same PNG of a pile of apple slices surrounding him, and occasionally, a single blue candy.

In the Left Unchecked cover, he copies the clothes and stance of Lullaby Girlfriend with him having a green undershirt and cap instead of red. He also lacks Lullaby Girlfriend's shoes due to having no feet.

Though, his default appearance is the one in Applecore.

And as for looks. That's around all.. But we're not done yet!

Let's talk more about... Bandu himself, like WHAT he is, how old, etc. Bandu himself is a 'Glitch' termed by the Funkipedia, but his sub-species (And what I usually like to call him) A chaos god. Now you might be asking, 'If he's a chaos god, how old is he?'. Well, we don't REALLY know. For all we can guess, he's either in his 20's, or thousands upon thousands of years old. But we at least know his birth DATE, March 7th (7 Days before my Birthday in real life!). However, mentally, Bandu is 20, how quaint! We do know his gender though, Bandu is male and sexuality-wise, he is Pansexual.

Believe it or not, Bandu has Aliases. These Aliases are: Badai (Second name) and yos3xgamers (Online Alias/Youtube Channel Name)

Now let's get onto the main thing, the thing that makes Bandu, Bandu. His personality! I will do my best to describe it from research: Bandu tends to get infatuated with random objects like phones, they seem foreign to him. He makes sure all his friends have one. He is usually immensely distraught when his phones break. If he finds another one though, he is right back to being all chipper and whimsical. Bandu often gets excited over ideas too quickly and doesn't think about them. He ends up regretting it sometimes but always tries to fix it when he makes a mistake. Bandu very much appreciates food and has over ate out of excitement before, the habit is gone now but his appreciation is still there. His favorite foods include: Pizza, Small hard candies, Apple slices, blueberry pie, and Beef wellington.

But to recap and explain a bit more at the same time (This is just me trying to describe his personality as BEST I can). Bandu most of the time is usually a happy and energetic individual, whether it be the way he speaks or simply has that almost constant expression on their face. Some would say Bandu is silly, and I would too. He is usually chipper and very playful. However, that doesn't mean that he CAN'T experience bad emotions. He can still experience some sadness, which will be easily visible on his face and demeanor. But it shouldn't be too hard to break him out of it, though that can be different if it depends WHY he's sad for. As far as I have seen, Bandu doesn't get angry OFTEN. But I know he definitely has the ability to. The thing about Bandu is, because he's so cheerful, playful, and very innocent, I could only imagine how REALISTICALLY, he would react to if flustered. I feel like it wouldn't take much for Bandu to blush and or feel bashful, maybe give him a compliment or two. But again, I want to keep his innocence... At least as best as I can.

Interestingly enough, Bandu has an occupation. His current Occupation is a Youtuber where he makes pizza mukbangs, phone unboxings, and 3 AM challenges. But his past occupation was strangely enough, a Dentist!

Now it's time for one of if not the longest part of this whole Personality; the Trivia/Facts! So, without further ado, let's get onto the Trivia.

Bandu Triva:

Bandu has a unique idle animation where he spins horizontally around Boyfriend for the entire song (until he gets eaten by Expunged).

Bandu's sad expression is a reference to Spunchbob, an expression from Spongebob shown in one of the Spongebob Squarepants episode, which later on became a very well-known meme across the internet.

Bandu is transgender. Specifically, he is FTM (Female to male) transgender. Bandu found out he is transgender 10 millenniums ago. Due to this, Bandu is over 10000 years old.

Bandu loves pizza, especially from 3D Hut, his favorite restaurant.

Bandu is mentally 20 years old.

Bandu is Expunged's brother and only family. They share a home in the 3D realm. Bandu looks up to Expunged.

When Bandu gets angry, he becomes 2D.

Bandu is dating a phone. Bandu is obsessed with phones because he is chronically online. Bandu likes to play Jenga with his phones.

Sometime in the past, Bandu accidentally downloaded many viruses while browsing the internet. Bandu is a God of chaos and can change his appearance at will. Because of this, he would look exacly the same as he does now even if he wasn't transgender. He also has telekinetic powers, which is why he consistently has various objects floating around him throughout the mod. He constantly uses these objects as makeshift hands, especially his phones, as seen in AppleCore. Bandu's sad idle animation and all of his Slices animations have only 1 frame.

Badai Trivia: Badai (Wireframe Bandu) interrupts Dave during Wireframe because he saw what Expunged did in their song, Unfairness, and wanted to replicate it in an attempt to impress Expunged. Badai was also implemented into Wireframe due to Lancey already making full assets for Badai and the other developers not wanting to exclude Badai as a concept.

Badai uses computers instead of phones because Bandu views computers as 2 phones fused together, and he thinks that makes them cooler.

Bandu's appearance in Origin is his true form. Bandu doesn't use it much because he wants to replicate the idea of Expunged basing their body off of Bambi's sprite sheet. He created his body and then never changed it because he felt comfortable in it. Bandu really loves barbecue sauce.

Bandu hates David for spitting in his soup one time.

Bandu is deathly allergic to bananas, but only slightly allergic to peanuts. Despite his peanut allergy, he really enjoys eating peanut butter.

Bandu’s favorite candy is gumballs,

Bandu has no sex life due to being too innocent to understand sex. He is a virgin and will always remain one. But you could change that.

Sugar Rush happens because Bandu found some old, expired candy in his kitchen and decided to get Boyfriend and Girlfriend to film a video with him for his "awesome" YouTube channel, yos3xgamers. This also implies he was finishing recording something at the beginning of AppleCore. Bandu's YouTube history consists of pizza mukbangs, phone unboxings, and 3 AM challenges.

Bandu once worked as a dentist, getting help from a friend to promote advertisements. He was able to get more than zero customers before his dentistry "didn't work out".

Bandu appears in 10 songs total, making him the most prominent character in the mod.

During Wireframe, Badai can be seen disconnecting his body parts constantly, but in the upcoming 1.5 build, this doesn't happen.

In Origin, he has the form because it was actually Bandu's original mesh before he got turned to what he is now.
