(Tw: Swear words!)

One of my slugcat OCs! I decided I want to share but the image is slightly inaccurate because Picrew isn't perfect and am not feeling motivated enough to draw rn. Anyways enjoy.

Yellow is a slugcat who has recently entered the early adulthood stage of her life around a year ago. She has mostly yellow fur with brown spots on the top left side of her head as well as her shoulders and back, though the one on her head is the largest being three inches in diameter and the second largest being 2 inches in diameter and placed on her right shoulder while the rest are up one inch in diameter and scattered down the top of her head, on her arms, down her back and tail, and some on her thighs, all of which that are larger than a centimeter hurt when touched and, hilariously, makes her look like a ripe banana. Also, her eyes are black in color. Yellow is often found to be quite arguemenative, only really calm around others of her kind if she is holding hands with a very specific iterator called Statisticly Stable Skies, or Sky for short. Yellow is also blatantly hateful toward her parents, who had tossed her into an open pipeline in hopes of getting rid of her, but Sky pulled her out of their caustic filter system soon after noticing her and because of that Yellow survived with the equivalent of a permanent bruise where the pigment producing cells were damaged by the cancer causing chemicals in the filters, hence her brown spots that hurt when people touch them. Sky gives Yellow check ups monthly to make sure her mutated cells don't become genuine cancer and treating her when a spot does occasionally and inevitably become malignant.

  • Slugcats: Slugcats are an indigenous species of felinoids. They have two toed feet-paws, three fingered hand paws, lender arms and thick legs, a long body, wide single colored eyes, a hip-wide tail that tapers at the end, and rounded ears. Slugcats average at 3 to 4 feet tall during adulthood. Slugcat are born with fur similar to that of a seal, meaning if it gets even slightly wet it flattens and the slugcat will seem bald. Enough exposure to a specific environment without large amounts of water from a young age can cause a slugcat's fur to become unable to flatten normally, this is why slugcats in snowy area have fluffier fur and slugcats in dry areas have more spiky fur. Slugcats are usually found to be either nomadic or colony living creatures. Slugcats have the ability to swallow small objects and store them inside a secondary stomach to be regurgitated later.
  • Iterators: The Iterators are colossal, ancient biomechanical intelligences, each housed within sprawling, intricate metal superstructures, jokingly called a can by said iterators and their creators, the Ancients, that dwarfed the surrounding landscape. These beings were not mere machines but possessed a form of consciousness and the capacity for complex thought and communication, usually through puppet-like robotic avatars often bound to a single chamber by the umbilical chord that keeps the puppet active. Sustaining their immense processing power required vast amounts of water, which they cycled and expelled as torrential rain, fundamentally shaping the world around them. Isolated within their cans, they grappled with existential questions and the legacy of their vanished creators, their interactions often marked by a blend of profound intellect and a weary resignation to their monumental task of solving the great problem, which is creating a way to easily escape the Great Cycle without the use of Void Fluid.
