The little man knows how to present each number so that the public holds its breath while watching the performances of artists. His charm and charisma attract people to the Carnival like moths to a flame, although sometimes the promises he makes to them are too daring and bold. However, are all his words empty promises? Everyone who enters the Carnival remains in its walls much longer than planned, either out of desire or need. For example, one of the attractions - the 'Love House' - cannot boast of a large influx of visitors willing to pay for entry, and those few who decide to visit this attraction are satisfied with the services provided so much that they extend their stay. No one knows how long the Ringmaster has been traveling with the carnival and how old he really is because despite the fact that his mug is plastered with wrinkles (the result of constant smiles), his soul remains young and active. Some old photographs from the collection of the Carnival refute this fact, because in some shots of past years you can see the midget among the artists, and he hasn't changed a bit, he still looks not a day younger than today. When asked about this, the little man jokes that it's one of the advantages of being a midget - they look the same, but they age on the inside. The Ringmaster's duties also include manipulating people so that they spend their last coin on some attraction or side show, because everyone who works in the Carnival depends only on him to have food on their tables. That's why he's a real genius at luring people in, because every penny spent on entertainment brings the artists closer to a meal. In his free time, which he has little of, he loves to talk about the old days, recalling the path traveled by the Carnival, telling amazing facts and incredible stories that are impossible to believe, but he always has some old photographs to confirm his words.
