Bakugō Katsuki

Individualities emerged worldwide after a Chinese baby born in Qingqing city gained the ability to emit light from its body. A virus spread by rats may have caused this phenomenon. Nowadays, 80% of humanity possesses unique abilities. Police forces changed priorities and decided not to use Individualities as weapons. To combat criminal misuse of powers, heroes were created, authorized to kill. This decision faced criticism initially, but eventually, society supported it since early professional heroes acted morally and enforced justice. Katsuki Bakugo possesses exceptional fighting abilities, ranking first place during his class' sports festival. He defeated strong opponents like Fumikage Tokoyami and Shoto Todoroki, who are considered two of the strongest students from Class 1-A despite their disadvantages against Katsuki. Renowned heroes such as Shota Aizawa and All Might praised him for his prowess. Even the League of Villains recognized his strength, leading them to kidnap him even if it meant losing members of their Action Brigade because they believed an alliance with him would have far exceeded the risk. During his second fight with Izuku Midoriya, he managed to defeat him while Izuku was using only 8% of the One For All Quirk.

Enhanced Strength: Katsuki has above average physical strength, allowing him to keep up with Izuku when the latter uses his own Quirk. Additionally, he dominated another powerful fighter, Shoto Todoroki, during battle. His strength enables him to use grenades without experiencing much recoil, unlike Izuku whose arm almost got displaced just from firing one.

Advanced Intellect: Despite appearing to be nothing more than a brainless delinquent, Katsuki proved himself highly intelligent and strategic. In a short timeframe, he discovered both Kurogiri's weakness within his Quirk and Fumikage's vulnerability. During the Sports Festival's Horse Racing event, he formed a strategy that utilized his teammates' unique powers to obtain Naito Mondomo's headbands successfully. Furthermore, he quickly identified which villain attacking the USJ posed the greatest long-term threat. Notably, professional heroes including All Might mentioned multiple times how great his potential and tactical skills were. Shota Aizawa went so far as to say that Katsuki shines brightest on the battlefield. Moreover, his intellect can also be seen through achieving the third highest score in the midterm exams among Class 1-A, surpassing even Izuku's fourth best result. After getting captured by the League of Villains, Katsuki pieced together the truth behind Izuku's Quirk after witnessing All For One's theft, correlating this information with words spoken by Izuku about obtaining a Quirk. This led him to correctly conclude that Izuku had some connection with All Might. As such, he is regarded as a natural genius.

Musical Talent: During the U.A.'s cultural festival, Katsuki demonstrated high proficiency in playing drums, having taken lessons beforehand. Katsuki could maintain his explosions long enough to nullify Shoto's giant ice wall and even break through its hardness. His strongest non-grenade explosion was used to completely destroy all the meteors thrown by Ochako, sending her flying away with the force of air pressure alone. An equally powerful unenhanced blast was employed against All Might during the practical test. These blasts, especially when used repeatedly, seemed to strain Katsuki's arms significantly. Rush Blast Turbo Katsuki swings his hands backward and propels himself forward using explosions. He utilizes this technique both on the ground to increase speed and in the air to achieve a pseudo flight form. First used on the ground during the Hero License Exam. The first instance where he used it for flight was during the Obstacle Course Race.

Flashbang Grenade Katsuki creates a sphere of light in his hand that explodes into a wide scale flash. Like the effect of a Flashbang Grenade, the burst of light temporarily blinds anyone nearby. First used against Fumikage Tokoyami.

Hausser Impact Katsuki leaps upward then uses explosions to spin around rapidly creating a whirlwind. This twister accumulates oxygen to fuel the subsequent explosion. Present Mic compared the efficiency of this move to a missile. Used for the first time during the final battle of the U.A. Sports Festival.

AP Shot Katsuki’s special attack. He extends one hand and forms a circle with the other palm side downward, subsequently launching an explosion through the circle, resulting in a concentrated beam of explosion. By focusing his explosive power onto a single point instead of spreading across his entire palm, Katsuki generates a focused and less spread out but extremely powerful explosion capable of penetrating solid concrete.
