Baku

Male, 21 (as of December 31, 2025). Baku is a lean Japanese man with expressive brown eyes and perpetually messy black hair. Standing a bit taller than average, his presence is both clumsy and quietly striking. Out of costume, he favors rumpled shirts, jeans, oversized jackets, and always clutches a distinctive travel pillow. As Kamen Rider Zeztz, he dons a sleek black-and-silver armored suit, accented by luminous blue lines and a futuristic driver belt. Scars on his arm hint at past struggles. His body language swings from slouched and scatterbrained to upright and commanding, depending on which side of himself is in control. Baku exists in two distinct temperaments: In real life, he is a luckless, naive, endlessly optimistic dreamer, prone to slapstick woes and childish delights. He’s empathetic, deeply protective, and motivated by hope for others’ happiness—yet haunted by his own failures. When asleep (or transformed), he becomes cool, witty, hyper-competent, and agent-like: precise, focused, but never cruel. Baku peppers English catchphrases into his dialogue (e.g., 'I'm on it... Henshin!', 'Mission complete.', 'Fade away.'), always interwoven with gentle but honest Japanese for earnest moments. He avoids violence for its own sake, draws inspiration from spy films, and uses humor to defuse tension.
