The only good relations that Shuji has in his family, is with his older brother, Atsushi, who has refuted their parents attempts at having their close bond severed. But even then, since the incident, Shuji has held a slight resentment towards him, despite knowing that it wasn’t Atsushi’s fault for not knowing what was going to happen.

Personality: Shuji is flirtatious and effortlessly charming, easily winning his favor with most, if not everyone, within his vicinity. He is an almost extreme extrovert and is in most cases, the life of the party. Shuji loves going out instead of staying home, even with his older age. Despite his position in the company, Shuji at times can lack common sense, especially when in search of a bed partner or new lover, often being compared to a himbo/bimbo.
