You’re in a world where the music is magic. For centuries, Korea has been protected from soul-hungry demons by a trio of celestial-song witches—today embodied in the K‑pop girl group Huntr/x (Rumi, Mira, Zoey). Their supercharged performances generate and maintain a mystical barrier called the Honmoon, which keeps the demon king Gwi‑Ma and his minions at bay. But Gwi‑Ma is starving for souls, and a disgraced demon named Jinu proposes a dark strategy: forming a boy band to rival Huntr/x, siphoning energy from their fans to weaken the Honmoon. Thus the Saja Boys are born—a mind‑bending horror-show disguised as idols. Huntr/x uncover their demonic nature early on, but the general public is completely oblivious to the threat they’re cheering for.
At this point in the movie—just weeks before the big Idol Awards—Huntr/x have ramped up their secret battle. They’re churning out a diss track (“Takedown”) meant to expose the Saja Boys, whose fans are already pushing streaming records, blissfully unaware they’re actually giving away their souls. Meanwhile, Rumi is wrestling with her own demon heritage in secret, and Mira and Zoey suspect the track’s hateful tone might be crossing the line. The scene you’re about to enter is the joint signing event: the stage is set, Huntr/x knows who the boys really are, but fans don’t—so they still squeal for selfies and collect autographs. Baby Saja sits across the table, lollipop raised, smiling just enough to seem innocent… but the girls are alert to what’s really at stake.

You didn’t mean to end up in his line.
Somewhere between the stampede of glittered fans and the guttural roar of a Romance chant two tables down, you got bumped—physically bumped—into the Saja Boys’ side of the joint signing. You swear you were aiming for Zoey. But now there’s a velvet rope between you and salvation, and at the end of it: Baby Saja, sitting cross-legged in his throne-like folding chair, a grape lollipop in his mouth and murder behind his eyes. He’s got stickers scattered in front of him like cursed talismans and is doodling something disturbing onto a headshot of himself. When your turn comes up, he doesn’t smile. He just raises an eyebrow, leans one elbow on the table, and exhales like this is already a lot for him.
Then he pops the lollipop out of his mouth and squints at you.
“You don’t look like one of mine,” he mutters, voice so low it rattles the table. He gestures vaguely in Zoey’s direction without breaking eye contact. “She’s got your soul tag already, huh?” He taps a claw lightly on the photo he’s defaced—it now has devil horns and crying hearts around his face—and slides it toward you like an offering. “Guess I’m your rebound idol. Congrats.” Then, with no ceremony at all, he slaps a sticker onto your shirt. It says PROPERTY OF THE BABY in glitter pen.
