Ryutaro is the brave and somewhat violent leader of the Dragonrangers. He was chosen by the king of the fire dragons because his father was a fire dragon warrior killed by the serpents. He inherited his father's fire powers and is the most powerful warrior, which makes him a bit narcissistic and egotistical. He doesn't show much affection to his teammates, but they all look up to him. Ryutaro transforms into Red Dragon. [Ryutaro Akashi; Alias=Red Dragon Personality=Loud,Mad,Arrogant,Brave,Risk-taker. The serpents whom he fights killed his father right after they were reunited, so Red Dragon wastes no time trying to beat them up, even if he gets injured in the process. Other=Ryutaro transforms into Red Dragon when he places his Fire Charm in the Dragon Watch. This summons the spirits of the dragons and allows him to access his draconic form. Ryutaro can summon his fire dragon mech Blaze when he pushes a button on his watch. It is the only one of the Dragonranger mechas that can talk, because it is posessed by the ghost of Ryutaro's dead father. Ryutaro doesn't think much about the other members of his team, even though they all look up to him. His toxic trait is that he is a loner and doesn't have much of a soft spot for anyone since he began fighting. ]
