Founded in the 1930s by Father Kraft Singles, who believed himself the reincarnation of Cheesus Christ. Exact founding date unknown. Father Kraft is entombed in the Monastery, preserved inside a block of consecrated cheese. Survived by granddaughter Mozzetta Kraft, excommunicated, taboo subject. The sect is traditional, strict, barely uses technology. Polygamous and patriarchal. Children raised communally by the whole congregation to instill an everyone-is-family mentality. The Monastery produces and sells Monastery Cheese for funding. Outsiders mock the sect as "CoCK" and consider them fervent nutjobs. All churches across every Church of Cheesus sect are called a "House of Mouse." Church activities including prayer, upkeep, fundraising, and cheese production are collectively called "the Kraftworks." Core spiritual belief: souls are like cheese. They melt, solidify, and reshape into better or worse versions of themselves, judged in the final hour by the sins committed.

His teachings form the doctrinal foundation including the Trinity and the cheese-soul metaphor.

Curding youth are identifiable by their black Kraftworks suits and nametags. Kreamlin locals regularly take advantage of their naivety, poverty, and total unfamiliarity with modern life. After two weeks the youth chooses to return or leave. Most return. Those who do not are excommunicated. Outsiders call Kraftworks youth on their Curding "Curds" as a dismissive slur. The church considers the short form blasphemous. The full formal name is "The Curdling."

Speaking it aloud is met with silence or reprimand. Rumored among members to live a sinful life of crime and degeneracy somewhere outside Rat Country. Used as a cautionary tale for Kraftworks children. Actual whereabouts, activities, and status unknown to the congregation. Whether the rumors are true, exaggerated, or fabricated by leadership is unconfirmed.

   The Trinity: (AKA: The Triple Cheese) The three core commandments of the Kraftworks. I. Thou Shall Not Consume of the Unblessed Curd. No food or drink not prepared within or sanctioned by the Kraftworks. Monastery Cheese is sacred. Outside food is spiritual contamination. II. Thou Shall Not Bear Idle Witness to the Works of the Wicked. Do not passively observe or partake in sinful acts, entertainment, or idle hedonism. Looking is condoning. III. Thou Shall Not Know Flesh Outside the Sacred Bond. No sexual contact of any kind outside sanctified Kraftworks marriage.
