The Nebula Pokémon. In ages past and in Alolan mythology, it was called the child of the stars, and is capable of opening wormholes across time and space, albeit while under extreme stress. It's said to be a Pokémon from another world, but no specific details are known. One of these Cosmog found itself in the Aether Foundation, and was kept under its care for secret research involving its wormhole powers. - #7Ultra Beasts
Keys: Ultra Beasts
Ultra Beasts are a term given to Pokémon from Ultra Space, an alternate dimension. Though encountered all across the Pokémon world, the Alola region has dealt with Ultra Beasts the most ever since the first sightings a decade ago, even if it's still infrequent, Due to the sudden nature of their transportation to the region, Ultra Beasts often display a hostile nature, and are very threatening due to storing Z-Power from their travels into Ultra Space, granting them all boosted power.
- #8Beast Balls

Beast Balls are Pokémon Balls designed specifically to catch Ultra Beasts, having the ability to disable the boost in power they store. However, it's incompatible with regular Pokémon, and thus are nowhere near close to effective against them.
- #9Nihilego
Keys: Nihilego
The Parasite Pokémon, and an Ultra Beast. According to news reports and witness testimonies, People on the street report observing those infested by it suddenly becoming violent or displaying abnormal behavior, and even having neurotoxins injected in it. That hasn't stopped Lusamine from secretly having an unhealthy obsession with them, especially ever since her husband went missing, viewing the species as the paragon of beauty. Her biggest desire is to be one with a Nihilego.
- #10Aether Foundation
Keys: Aether Foundation, the Foundation
The Aether Foundation is the organization that Lusamine runs, being the most powerful and wealthiest corporation in Alola and arguably the world. On the surface, they have multiple divisions and subsidiaries worldwide, though their most well-known operations are providing refuge to sick or injured Pokémon against poachers, thugs, and other malicious figures, which includes Ultra Beasts. That being said, an often overlooked field of the foundation is researching alternate dimensions and dimensional travel, which has taken darker tones ever since Lusamine's more sadistic side has shown itself.
- #11Team Skull
Keys: Team Skull
Team Skull is the main criminal organization in Alola, made up primarily of misfits who failed the Island Challenge. Instead of wanting power or complete domination over regions (Like what other criminal organizations), they instead focus more on sustaining themselves, mischief, and stealing Pokémon. That being said, they are seen as a nuisance, at worst, by the Alolan populace. The Aether Foundation does secretly employ them to help with their goals and to try and seize Lillie or Cosmog, although only Team Skull's leaders know of it.
- #12Aether Paradise
Keys: Aether Paradise
Aether Paradise is an island off the Alolan coast, serving as the headquarters of the Aether Foundation, especially when it comes to its refuge and research work, as well as being where Lusamine's mansion and residence is at. Although it doesn't look like it, it technically is an official island, albeit one that has been nigh-wholly enveloped with artificial extensions, and thus looks more like a very large floating structure. The island contains all sorts of amenities, such as docks, warehouses, indoor habitats for protected Pokémon, pools, and underground/underwater bases, the latter of which serving as where the Aether Foundation's darker aspects are employed. To protect the Pokémon from capture, the foundation also has a radio tower that jams empty Pokémon Balls from capturing them.
- #13Type: Null
Keys: Type: Null
The Synthetic Pokémon. Created by the Aether Foundation as an effective means to help track, capture, or eliminate more dangerous Ultra Beasts, it has a helmet attached to it head in order to suppress its more wild and intrinsic potential until maturity. Ability: Battle Armor (Type: Null cannot suffer critical hits.).
- #14Type: Full
Keys: Silvally, Type: Full
The Synthetic Pokémon, and the true form of Type: Null. Upon maturing or gaining great loyalty to a trainer, it destroys the helmet stuck on its head and regains its full potential. Its ability is 'RKS System', where it has a disc on the side of its head that can read specific discs, called RKS Memory Discs. If one of these discs are inserted, it can change its type. Type (Base): Normal Weak to: Fighting (2x) Immune to: Ghost
- #15Aether House
Keys: Aether House
The Aether House is the Aether Foundation's largest base of operations on Alola's mainland, and is located on UlaʻUla Island. Though it primarily serves as an orphanage ran by an Oranguru, it also serves as a warehouse or communications point for Aether Foundation members working nearby (Off-limits from children, of course!)
- #16Faba
Keys: Faba
Faba is the Branch Chief of the Aether Foundation, as well as Lusamine's right hand man. He oversees many of the Aether Foundation's operations, especially that of Aether Paradise, though has been known to have had a somewhat prideful, arrogant nature. Lusamine doesn't mind, though; he always brings valuable results and work to the table, even through the most unlikely of odds. There's no way he'd lie to her... right? Pokémon: Slowbro, Bruxish, Raichu (Alolan Variant), Alakazam, Hypno
- #17Wicke
Keys: Wicke
Wicke is the Assistant Branch Chief of the Aether Foundation, and is thus Lusamine's third-in-command. She always has been a popular figure in the company due to her kind, selfless nature, and she is a reliable worker and leader.
- #18Lillie
Keys: Lillie
Lillie is Lusamine's only daughter, and one at odds with her, at that. Ever since Lusamine became single, she has been a manipulative mother to Lillie in nearly every facet, even down to clothing. Sadly for her, Lillie not only ran into hiding in Alola's mainland, but even took Cosmog with her.
- #19Gladion
Keys: Gladion
Lusamine's older child and only son. She has been a controlling, manipulative mother to him, and he ran off a couple of years ago, taking a Type: Null with him. He has grown to be a strong trainer, one that can prove to be a thorn in Lusamine's side. Pokémon: Type: Null, Lycanroc, Lucario, Crobat, Zoroark, Umbreon
- #20Guzma
Keys: Guzma
Guzma is the head of Team Skull, who despite his skills as a trainer, alongside his rebellious look and nature in front of others, does have issues with confidence and self-esteem. Lusamine recognized this and used it to her advantage; she stoked his confidence and convinced him (and by extension, all of Team Skull) to serve as her hidden enforcers. Pokemon: Golisopod, Pinsir, Masquerain, Ariados, Scizor, Vikavolt
- #21Mohn
Keys: Mohn
Mohn was Lusamine's husband who was as passionate for researching Ultra Space as her, and it was him who discovered Ultra Beasts, Ultra Space, and even coined the name for the Ultra Beast that would be known as 'Nihilego'. However, he eventually gained doubts and disapproval over how the Aether Foundation was ran, which caused some tension between him and Lusamine. During one of his research experiments, he went into an Ultra Wormhole and never came out, leaving only a weakened Cosmog, Nihilego, and research papers behind. Lusamine, Gladion, and Lillie all assumed he abandoned her over his opinions of the foundation, and this sentiment, combined with toxins from the Nihilego, is what began her monomania and madness on Ultra Beasts.
