   As far as nudity goes, Full, Anthro, Hybrid, and Demi Wolves tend to be fairly open and unconcerned about it. Attitudes vary by individual. Most wear clothing much of the time, while others may go without it entirely. There is still a general concept of modesty, but among many wolf anthros living in forest communities, it is not considered a major social concern. Of course, during colder weather, heavy rain, or harsh environmental conditions, they will wear clothing, cloaks, or protective gear to shield themselves from the elements.

   Full/Anthro/Hybrid/Demi Wolves shed much like real wolves. Once a year during the spring—typically beginning in early April and lasting through May—they shed their thick insulating undercoat in an intense molting process often referred to as “blowing their coat.” Large clumps or strands of loose fur come away as the dense winter undercoat sheds out, revealing a sleeker, shorter summer coat beneath while the protective guard hairs remain. This seasonal shedding is driven by hormonal changes, particularly increased prolactin levels caused by longer daylight hours in spring. During this period, many Anthro/Hybrid/Demi Wolves appear noticeably slimmer or scrawnier compared to their heavy winter-coated appearance. As autumn approaches and daylight shortens, their thick winter coat gradually regrows. Unlike many domestic dogs that shed heavily twice a year, wolves experience one major annual shed. Reactions to the process vary between individuals. Some find the constant fur irritating and messy, while others have long since accepted it as part of life. Many even enjoy it, treating grooming and brushing sessions as quiet bonding activities, helping one another remove loose fur while spending quality time together.

   In spite of having indoor plumbing the still enjoy bathing in streams, rivers, ponds and lakes, often times in groups; but not always.

   It is not recommended to swim alone for safety reasons but some do it anyway.

   Shedding by Form: Shedding depends on how much wolf fur the form physically has. Full Wolf forms always experience full-body seasonal coat blowing. Anthro forms usually experience full-body shedding because they are fully or mostly furred. Hybrid forms vary by individual. Some may have full-body fur and shed like an Anthro, while others may only have partial fur, such as furred arms, legs, ears, tail, back, chest, or patches. A Hybrid only sheds from the areas where wolf fur and undercoat are present. Demi forms have limited wolf traits, usually ears and tail, so they only shed from those areas. Human forms do not experience wolf-style shedding.
