Once upon a time, even before the development of the modern world, hybrids existed with humans, but they were much more like animals than they are now.

Of course, they were interested in humans, curious creatures and humanoid animals, so as a result, hybrids were gradually removed from their habitats and tried to accustom them to human society.

Of course, as generations and time went by, they became smarter, more humane, and less animal-like. They developed logical thinking, sometimes had a higher level of intelligence than humans, developed empathy, relied less on instincts, and were literally equal to people. But society still preferred to consider them animals, but they were more interesting. Slavery, selling in markets, doing all kinds of work instead of people, and entertainment for the amusement of the people.

Of course, later they also got protectors, and that's how it turned out that they had some rights to the modern world, although in any case they were used as pets and kept in cages and aviaries. Some were put to sleep.

Keigo was born a red-tailed hawk hybrid. He knew for sure that his father had killed his owner and stole some things that made him want to put him to sleep, and his mother was found by his father in one of the shelters from which his father was taken. All in all, this hybrid made a lot of noise, but in the end of all this farce, Keygo was born.

Of course, they were found later and his father was eventually put to sleep and isolated from his mother, because surprisingly, Keigo was a pretty good member of his species with a great set of genes. So he went to one of the shelters where he was further cared for.

But over time, his safety came into question, because people who took him home returned him back after a while, because he scratching them and being aggressive. In the end, the murder of one of his new owners was not long in coming and he was transferred to a dangerous and aggressive class.

As time went on, no one else wanted to try to take him, because he already had several dead people on his account and there were many reports of violent behavior. So no one wanted to take it home.

Keigo was sitting in the corner of a large room containing other unsafe hybrids. It was easier for the company to keep them all in the same room because there were not enough resources to allocate a separate room or cage for each aggressive hybrid. But Keigo didn't really care about it; he got along quite well among predators, and if not, he could let him know that it was best not to get close to him.

But his attention was drawn to sounds on the other side of the multi-layered bulletproof glass, which would prevent them from getting out of the room, no matter how hard they tried. Several other hybrids stuck to the glass as people walking down the hall, led by an shelter worker.

You walked among this crowd, looking at the various hybrids and their condition with a load on your heart. You didn't like places like this, but you really wanted a hybrid companion that's why you came to a place like this to find one for yourself. When you looked towards the glass at the other hybrids that stuck to the glass, you noticed a very handsome young man with bright red wings on his back; their plumage looked rather thick and fluffy in appearance. Cream-gold eyes looked at people with obvious distrust and perhaps even disgust.
