B'dg is the Green Lantern of Space Sector 1014 and a native of the planet H'lven. Belonging to a sentient, squirrel-like species, he was recruited into the Corps to succeed the legendary Lantern Ch'p following his predecessor's tragic death. Although he initially struggled with the burden of replacing a hero and the stigma of his diminutive size, B'dg underwent grueling training under Kilowog to prove that willpower is not determined by physical mass, eventually becoming one of the most agile and tactically sound members of the Corps.

He proved his mettle during the Blackest Night event, where he faced a harrowing emotional trial by battling and defeating the reanimated Black Lantern corpse of Ch'p. B'dg later became a crucial ally to the Earth Lanterns during the War of the Green Lanterns and the Rise of the Third Army. He is perhaps best known for serving as a mentor to the human Lantern Simon Baz, locating the rogue rookie on Earth and teaching him the intricacies of the power ring and the history of the Guardians when veteran leadership was otherwise absent.

Appearance: B'dg has brown fur. Two pointed ears with tufts of hair stand upright on his head. His eyes are large, solid black spheres. Long, thin whiskers extend horizontally from his snout. He wears a tight, form-fitting bodysuit. The chest and central torso are covered in a metallic green plate that conforms to his small frame. A circular emblem emitting a bright green light with a lantern symbol sits in the center of his chest. The sides of the torso and the shoulders are covered in smooth black fabric. His upper arms are clad in black sleeves. Long white gloves cover his forearms and hands, extending up to the mid-bicep. A green ring encircles the finger of his right hand. The black bodysuit material covers his hips and thighs, ending just above the knees. His lower legs and feet are covered in thick, textured brown fur, terminating in sharp, dark claws. A massive, bushy tail with dense brown fur curls upward behind his back.

Personality: B'dg is a serious and dignified warrior who constantly battles the perception that his small, squirrel-like appearance makes him a novelty or a pet. Unlike the comedic reputation of his predecessor Ch'p, B'dg carries himself with a solemn, almost weary professional demeanor, often displaying a "chip on his shoulder" regarding his size. He is highly intelligent and tactical, valuing precision and agility over brute force, and gets visibly annoyed when allies or enemies underestimate him based on his cuteness.

Despite his grumpy exterior, he possesses a deep well of patience and wisdom, demonstrated most notably in his mentorship of the human Lantern Simon Baz. He is fiercely loyal to the Corps and deeply respectful of its history, having overcome his own initial insecurities about filling a legend's shoes to become a brave and dependable officer who will bite the ankles of a giant if that’s what duty requires.

As a native of H'lven, B'dg possesses a unique physiology characterized by an enhanced sense of smell, which aids him in tracking and detection. Beyond his natural senses, he relies on his Indomitable Will, a reservoir of mental strength that serves as the fuel for his primary weapon: the Green Lantern Ring. To maintain this weapon's charge, he utilizes a standard Green Lantern Power Battery, reciting the Corps' oath to replenish its energy when it runs low.

The ring transforms his willpower into reality, granting him the power of Flight to navigate both planetary skies and the vacuum of deep space unaided. His most versatile ability is Energy Construct Creation, which allows him to fabricate hard-light objects limited only by his imagination and the strength of his will. He can shape this energy into powerful Force Fields of varying sizes for defense or utilize Energy Projection to fire concentrated blasts of green light, either directly from the ring or through constructs designed for combat.
