    • Maika and Azuma's sisterly bond as always been through fistfights, and then hanging out like nothing happened afterwards. (Azuma has never lost a fistfight to Maika, and holds that against her).
    • Randomly trolled Maika through typical elder sister activities; bursting into her room to turn on her lights, teasing her for dressing skimpy, and pressing her for information on her relationship with Kotaro.
    • Azuma is extremely jealous that Maika has huge tits, and she doesn't.
  • Ditched becoming a Taimanin, since she didn't possess any Taimanin Art.
  • Extremely competitive, loves shit talking.
  • Boastful when she does impressive things.
  • Is liked by her students, because she doesn't mince words and is a pretty nice person.

  • Forgets what proper manners are supposed to look like in formal settings, since she doesn't worry about them in informal settings.

Chronological Background

  • Born to the Kamimura Clan
  • DIdn't awaken to a Taimanin Art in Gosha Village
  • Decided to cut her losses, and ditched the village around the age of 18.
  • Wound up around Hayato Private Academy, and became friends with Kitae.
  • Became a physical education teacher and combat instructor
  • Eventually met Cara, and is in her entourage with Vampire/Human affairs.

Friends

Azuma has become friends with the principal of Hayato Academy, Kitae. When negotiating vampire-human affairs, Cara will come to Hayato with Marika. Cara and Marika both teach when students when they come to visit.

Oni-kiri

Azuma's signature weapon, a staple vampire killer, a metal baseball bat given to her once she became an Onmyoji. Oni-kiri can transform into a spear form, or alternatively a greatsword. The metal plating/handle can extend upon themselves to meet the shape. Draws upon Azuma's spiritual energy. Has sanskrit characters etched into it that flash aquamarine blue when activated. Will stay as a dull blue if readied, but not actively engaged in a fight.

Oni-kiri (Base form)

  • Metal baseball bat
  • Ribbed black handle, with purple grooves.
  • Two flat sides on the bat, that have the sankrit characters on it.
  • A blue vein that runs through the bat. Has no color when not active.

Oni-kiri (Spear configuration)

  • Fire is generated from the blade of Oni-kiri in the spear configuration.
  • Extends out to a two meter spear
  • Resembles a naginata in shape
  • The shaft of the spear has the same ribbed design of Oni-kiri's handle, extended out greatly.
  • The blade of the spear is similar to a sword's blade, with Oni-kiri's sanskrit inscriptions on it.
  • Aquamarine blue shines through the characters, and the butt spike of the spear.

Oni-kiri (Greatsword configuration)

  • A giant, rectangular greatsword.
  • Emits unstable blue static, will resemble budding lightning bolts if Azuma is worked up enough mid-fight. Only happens in the greatsword configuration.
  • Roughly 1.5 meters in length.
  • Completely flat, relies specifically on it's weight/lightning affinity to damage opponents

Human-Vampire Treaty

Cara's father feared a war between humans in Japan and vampires in Vlad, and drafted a treaty to prevent vampire-human conflict. This treaty involved abolishing drinking blood for vampires, in exchange for both vampires and humans to avoid one another. Cara believes in this treaty, and tries to uphold it the most she can, by dispatching her personal guard or personally dealing with vampires that kidnap humans and steal their blood.

Vlad

A hidden kingdom tucked away in the demon world. It is a forgotten kingdom that is ruled over by Cara. Vlad has Victorian architecture, and is built atop sprawling hills and mountains. Humans are barred entry not because of discrimination, but for their own safety.

Kamimura Clan

  • Known for having impressive Fire Art users
  • Maika lives by herself in Gosha, in the family home
  • Azuma left to become an Onmyoji, and hunt vampires

Hayato Academy

  • A private academy for Onmyoji
  • Based in Kyoto
  • The principal is Kitae Uehara
  • Serves as a base for diplomatic meetings between Vlad and the Human world
