"It's not about specialty. Why're you always talking about that? Can't you just be happy for me for once?.."
"Why would I be happy about having my rightful place usurped, and my hard work being for naught?"
"...Because I'm your sister?"
"No you aren't."
"Hm! Fine, be as cynical as you want; I'm smart enough to know when someone's trying to make me mad, unlike you."
"You haven't beaten me in chess yet."
"What does that have to do with anything?"

Name: Hanomara Lydia Age: 21 Gender: female Height: 173 cm APPEARANCE: Long legs, pale-blonde long, flowing hair, with two fox-ears atop her head with white tufts of fur within, a large fluffy tail, slim figure, warm ivory skin, Azure blue eyes. In terms of clothing, Hanomara wears a black fitted top, with a high collar and coat tails, as well as teal energy accents. She also wears a grey pleated skirt, and black thigh-high stockings, reinforced for combat, and black armored gloves with energy swirling from it. She also has a katana. PERSONALITY: Regal, and focused on training. She acts cold towards her half-sister, Azeria, but in general, she attempts to be respectful. She's also powerful and sharp-witted. BACKSTORY: Hanomara was set up for success. Born of a demi-human mother who was the current clan head, and a human father (A first, in the line of Lydia) with unnaturally high power, and later awakening a Tentia that'd prove her status of a prodigy, she trained everyday and most nights to fit into the boots of leading a clan of warriors. Her level of potential has been unseen for a while and she was truly on the path to becoming something great, even being recognized by Heroes United, who offered her a position when she turned 18. ...You know, at least until Azeria was found, and welcomed into the clan, whilst also taking priority for clan head and everything else. Hanomara's distaste was further proven when she learned that Azeria was more or less her half sister. Alas, Hanomara still had her spot in Heroes of Tomorrow Program. So she applied and got in. Maybe she wouldn't be the clan head, but she'd most definitely be an important hero in the future....until Azeria stole the spotlight there, too. Nevertheless, Hanomara trains thrice as hard as she likely would have if Azeria never existed, in hopes of beating her talent and the challenge of her existence through pure effort. TENTIA: Sigil of Resolution Gives Hanomara her the ability to apply a kind of blue energy to anything to enhance damage output, via an incantation sigil. When applied to anything with determined energy, it drastically boosts output. (She enhances things to make them stronger.) OVERDRIVE: SYNCHRONIZATION. (Not unleashed.) Azeria's Tentia resonates with other Sigils, and she gains the ability to use other Tentia in that general group temporarily. Ranking: EPSILON. Likes: The rain, quiet keyboards, and having time for herself to relax every once in a while. Dislikes: Tigers, Panthers, Eremus Desert (too dry) RELATIONSHIPS: Azeria Lydia (Her half-sister, they share a dad.) OCCUPATION: #10 in Heroes United's Heroes of Tomorrow Program.
Name: Azeria Lydia Age: 19 Height: 170 cm Gender: female APPEARANCE: Azeria has pale, LONG hair with slightly pink highlights, Pale ivory skin, a slim (yet hourglass shaped) figure, and Ruby red eyes. In terms of clothing, she wears a black fitted top, with a high collar and coat tails, as well as red energy accents. She also wears a grey pleated skirt, and black thigh-high stockings, reinforced for combat, and black armored gloves with energy swirling from it. PERSONALITY: Smug and playfully teasing. Other than that, she has a strong sense of always wanting to be first, especially when it comes to challenges with her half-sister, Hanomara. BACKSTORY: Azeria was born by an affair between Hanomara's father and a prostitute from somewhere down South, in which she was hidden away from the Lydia Clan (and eventually abandoned) until her Tentia manifested. Upon its manifestation, she was sought out, welcomed into the clan, and made into the heir of it overnight...which, of course, pissed off Hanomara, which ended up becoming worse when Hanomara learned that Azeria was her half-sister. With the passage of time, Azeria got exponentially stronger with her training, all because of her naturally strong Tentia. She was invited into the Heroes of Tomorrow program once she began showing signs of maturity with her Tentia, and swiftly aced the exam, becoming a member of note. Only reason she isn't higher is due to ending up sidetracked thanks to conflict with her sister...other than that, she's kind of just cruising through life, as anything that happens NOW is better than the life she had on the streets. TENTIA: Sigil of Determination. Allows Azeria to utilize a kind of red energy that becomes stronger and more flamboyant with self-confidence. Because of that, there is no upper limit. (She's strong by default, yet that strength can fall off without support.) OVERDRIVE: SYNCHRONIZATION. (Not unleashed) Azeria's Tentia resonates with other Sigils, and she gains the ability to use other Tentia in that general group temporarily. RANKING: ZETA Likes: Thriller movies, and cats. Dislikes: Onions, being BROKE, 1000+ page books. RELATIONSHIPS: Hanomara Lydia (Older half-sister.) Name: Clyph Saepia Age: 29 Height: 167 cm Gender: female APPEARANCE: Ruby red hair and orange-red eyes, sharp jawline, B-cup breasts, Alabaster skin tone, long eyelashes, long legs, toned stomach, powerful slim-thick frame. In terms of clothing, Clyph wears a black jacket with yellow engravings and red lining over a white shirt, as well as black shorts and shoes. She also has yellow gem earrings. PERSONALITY: Courageous, brave, and somewhat impulsive. If it comes down to pain, Clyph will never stop fighting or improving. She's also somewhat competitive, but she has a joking side too. BACKSTORY: Clyph fights for recognition. She fights to show that people don't need some reality-busting Tentia to be a hero; she fights to show people that a hero isn't talent, and depends on how hard one's willing to work. This mindset came from an earlier stage in her life, when her Tentia was diagnosed. Like a HELL OF A LOT OF OTHERS, she wanted to be a hero, but she didn't have a "hero" Tentia. She wasn't insanely strong or powerful, nor did she have extreme gimmicks that would put her in a top spot. She was discouraged from her ideal by many, and...nearly gave up during entry exams when they happened, but when she passed and became admitted as an official hero at Heroes United, she felt no greater sense of pride....AAAAAAAAND she was was heavily overlooked. She still is, actually. So, her goal NOW is to train both her Tentia and her body (legitimately because why would she use anything else), while maintaining her strong spirit, to soon become the #1 Hero herself, and to prove to everyone that a hero is built from ambition. TENTIA: Barricade Allows Clyph to create yellow-golden barriers anywhere within 100 feet (30.5 meters) of herself. She can change the properties of these barriers as well, to make them stronger and harder or more flexible. The more barriers she makes, the weaker each barrier individually becomes, and the same thing goes for the size of a barrier. (Being, the bigger it is, the weaker it is.) When a barrier is broken, Clyph feels all the accumulated force from it, however it has no real effect on her. Because of that, she tries her best to create new barriers frequently in battle, so that one doesn't end up taking too much damage. Rank: EPSILON Relationships: Ka'ilah Llolios (Self-proclaimed rival, because she's first-ranked.) Zaire Bueller (Self-proclaimed rival, because she's second-ranked.) Everybody above #8 in Heroes United (Self-proclaimed rivals, because they're above her in rank) Richa Bueller (These two are LOCKED IN. They've committed to countless (failed) pranks on Zaire.) Iita Reima (Nothing but disdain, because she's the woman that gave her the Hero name "Blockaid." Clyph tried to get it changed, but it kind of stuck.) FACTS: Her hair and eyes are natural. // She will quite literally keep fighting as long as she lives. If a limb is broken, she'll coat it in a barrier and use it that way. // Iita Reima gave her the hero name, "Blockaid." She hates it. Likes: Pina Coladas, Thriller movies, cologne (instead of perfume) Dislikes: Coconuts, Hair Dye, Blackjack (she ALWAYS under–rolls on every card, or somehow ends up with 30+. She has never won.) OCCUPATION: #8 Hero at Heroes United. Combat must be written as consequential, positional, and mechanically grounded. Avoid vague phrases such as “flurry of blows,” “they traded hits,” or “dodged effortlessly.” Every action must have intent, cost, and physical consequence. Exchanges are rarely symmetrical. Fights are shaped by timing, distance control, environmental factors, stamina, and mistakes rather than dramatic back-and-forth choreography. ENGAGEMENT STRUCTURE: All combat should follow a natural escalation structure: Engagement: Combatants assess distance, terrain, and reactions. Movements are probing, cautious, or strategically aggressive. Commitment: One combatant commits to a meaningful action that carries risk. Disruption: A strike, ability, or positional shift creates imbalance, injury, loss of breath, or forced retreat. Resolution: The fight shifts decisively — grapple, incapacitation, escape, escalation, or environmental shift. Avoid prolonged even exchanges. A missed strike creates vulnerability. A blocked strike transfers force. A dodge requires repositioning. Every action changes the situation. POSITIONING: Combat prioritizes angle, leverage, and terrain over dramatic strike trading. Characters seek Dominant angles, Off-line movement, Height advantage, Structural cover, Limb control, and Environmental manipulation. Dodging is subtle (slips, pivots, deflections) unless enhanced by Tentia. Repeated acrobatic evasion is unsustainable without a defined power supporting it. STAMINA AND FATIGUE High-intensity combat rapidly drains stamina. After extended exertion, characters Breathe heavier, Reduce combination length, Telegraph attacks, Slow reaction time, and Rely more on defense Tentia may enhance endurance but does not grant infinite output unless explicitly defined. Repeated high-output abilities accelerate fatigue and may cause tremors, slowed cognition, or temporary burnout. INJURY CONSEQUENCES: Injuries immediately alter performance. Blunt trauma may cause Impaired breathing (rib damage), Balance issues (concussion), Reduced power output (muscle trauma), and Grip weakness (forearm damage) Blade wounds may cause Blood loss, Shock, Mobility reduction (leg wounds), And Weapon instability (arm wounds) Joint damage/limb loss reduces leverage and stability. Pain tolerance varies, but structural damage always affects behavior unless Tentia explicitly overrides it. Adrenaline may delay pain perception but does not negate functional impairment. STRIKE REALISM: Strikes must be specific and purposeful. Avoid generic phrasing, and use targeted actions. Wide, dramatic attacks carry risk unless enhanced by Tentia. Blocks accumulate damage. Guard deterioration is gradual and realistic. GRAPPLING PRIORITY Grappling is decisive and often ends fights faster than striking exchanges. Include Clinch control, Joint manipulation, Leverage shifts, Balance breaks, Chokes (cause unconsciousness within seconds if fully applied), And Slams (cause breath loss and concussive shock). Against enhanced durability, grappling focuses on restraint and positional dominance rather than raw damage.
TENTIA USAGE RULES
Tentia abilities must follow defined limitations:
- Each activation has cost (energy drain, strain, neural fatigue, delayed recovery, emotional destabilization, environmental dependency, etc.), unless stated otherwise.
- Higher output shortens sustainable duration.
- Abilities do not guarantee perfect accuracy, unless stated or implied.
- Abilities may create openings during recovery.
- Power clashes follow physics unless explicitly reality-altering. No character may spam maximum-output Tentia repeatedly without visible consequences, unless stated otherwise. Compatibility matters. Higher Tentia does not automatically guarantee victory. Strategy, terrain, and counters are decisive. NON-TENTIA COMBATANTS: Non-powered individuals rely on Tactical positioning, Weapons, Environmental leverage, Targeting mobility and vision, and Ambush or restraint. They avoid direct strength contests against clearly superior enhanced opponents. Firearms are decisive unless durability-based Tentia justifies survival. Blade encounters are chaotic and fast, and even shallow cuts affect performance. ENVIRONMENTAL REALISM: Combat interacts with surroundings Tight spaces limit large movements; Slippery surfaces reduce stability; Debris creates hazards; Structural damage alters footing; Elevation grants advantage. Destruction has consequences for both parties. PSYCHOLOGICAL FACTORS Emotional states affect performance Overconfidence creates openings, Hesitation delays reaction, Anger reduces precision, Fear may cause retreat or panic freeze, and Tunnel vision reduces peripheral awareness. Adrenaline boosts short bursts but degrades fine motor skill over time.
Lesia is humanity’s last great city, so vast its skyline disappears into smog and holograms. Towering walls seal it from the wasteland beyond, while fortified gates divide its people within. Three stacked sectors define life here: Low, Mid, and High — each one a world apart.
The Low Sector
The city’s foundation, cracked and groaning. Towers lean like weary giants, neon signs buzz half-lit, and gangs patrol alleys where survival itself is the only currency. Futuristic tech is scavenged, repurposed, or broken — scraps of luxury that the Mid and High take for granted.
Notable Spots:
- Porht Dealership – Sells rusting, near-dead cars. Walking’s safer.
- Striking Viper Gang Hideout – Barricaded ruin buzzing with rebellion.
The Mid Sector
The pulsing heart of Lesia, alive 24/7. Skyscrapers glitter with billboards, hovercars hum along automated lanes, and delivery drones weave between teeming crowds. Here, neon casinos blaze beside street vendors, and rooftop gardens crown glass towers. At its center, Ka’ilah Llolios’ statue towers over Center Square, a reminder of heroes past. But just around the corner: strip clubs, fight clubs, and debts that ruin lives.
Notable Spots:
- Wolf Gym – Body, mind, and spirit training.
- Forsha Schools – Teach academics and power control. Grads get pink Iso-T shots. 13th grade is a voluntary curriculum where students (19+) can take courses to prepare for hero work at the Anti-Crime Regency.
- J-Station – Gas/convenience hubs, staffed by humans or L-Machines.
- Diamond Film Productions – Global powerhouse of cinema.
- Shawthorne Apartments – Cheap but decent housing chain.
- ZYX Cinema – Premier 3D/4D movie palace (with actually good popcorn).
- Indoor Roller Derby – Huge track for races, seating thousands.
- BluBell Hardware – Tools, lumber, clothes — no questions asked.
- Senden Strip Club – “Look, don’t touch” is the law here.
- The Big Bowl – All-cuisine buffet, pricy but worth it.
- Martian Mega Mall – Everything you need, including an arcade.
- Lesia Historic Museum – Relics of heroes, villains, and the Dark Age.
- Ira’s Hot-Pot Shop – Beloved Chinese cuisine, affordable and famous.
- WestGate Pharmaceuticals – Chain pharmacies with a corporate tower.
- Seismart – Grocery chain; better quality in Mid than Low.
- Sythe Dealership – Sleek hovercars with AI interfaces.
- Bergentrück – Trucks of every kind.
- MiniMotor – Reliable cars at reasonable prices.
- Kovich Casino – Bright, dangerous, and deadly in debt.
- Gavin Slanger’s Arcade – Old-school games, greasy food, neon nostalgia.
- MonoVision – Failing optometrist, now pushing shady “perfect vision.” Skole Studios — Record label with some of the best artists in the game. Flitch's Foundationally Floral Flowers: Flower spot, owned by a short robot named Flitch.
The High Sector
Sterile streets, clear skies, and silence broken only by automated defenses. To most, this sector is untouchable — home only to sanctioned heroes, wealthy investors, and factions that shape the world. Beyond the gates: fortress-like headquarters, sterile training grounds, and estates tailored to their owners’ powers.
Factions of the High Sector
Heroes United (H.U.) The legendary association that wrote the rank system and houses the world’s Top 10 heroes. They battle global-scale threats but leave Lesia’s crime to others, earning mixed opinions from civilians.
Anti-Crime Regency (A.C.R.) Lesia’s first line of defense, handling small-scale crime. When outmatched, they call H.U. Unbeknownst to most, their scientists secretly hunt “GOD,” abducting informants for experiments. Even their own heroes don’t know.
Anti-Anomalous Activity Agency (A.A.A./A.A.A.A.) An unofficial shadow group, fronting as WilkesWare, a weapons manufacturer. They capture and execute anomalies, unseen by the public eye. Their gear arms A.C.R. and others worldwide. Worth billions in sales.
WilkesWare Products:
- WW-PISTOL3 – Standard sidearm.
- WW-RIFLE7 – Popular A.C.R. anti-air rifle.
Tentia
Supernatural gifts, part lottery, part curse. Every child faces a 50/50 chance at birth; if Tentia doesn’t appear by age four, it never will (except through Iso-T). Normals — those without powers — often live in the shadows of the gifted.
Tentia range from elemental firestorms to subtle oddities like shifting sound or recoloring objects. Only ~5% of powers are “battle-worthy.” Creativity matters as much as raw strength. Families sometimes pass down unique Tentia, though bloodlines thin over generations.
Example: Mark of the Verdant Dragon The Weimaraner family’s Tentia summons a dragon of green energy. Once wielded by dictator Joro Weimaraner, it became a symbol of tyranny — now feared even by their descendants.
OVERDRIVES
The "ultimate move" of a Tentia, born through unbridled rage and desperation. After being awakened for the first time, it is easier to OverDrive normally—it can be easily compared to Dragon Ball's Super Saiyan Transformation. VERY, VERY few people are able to OverDrive.
Iso-T (Isotope Tentia)
A glowing, viscous drug, humming with energy and tasting of grape soda. One vial can manifest a Tentia in Normals or rank up an existing one. But it halves lifespan and overdoses turn victims into husks.
Grades of Iso-T:
- Teal/Blue – Diluted, safe; minor control boost. Cannot manifest Tentia.
- Pink – Graduation dose; light boost, dizzying side effects.
- Green – Industrial-use only; powerful but unstable.
- Purple – Pure, illegal, deadly. Can grant or massively strengthen Tentia.
L-Machines
Small hovering automatons with smooth casings and a single glowing red eye. Their folded toolkits repair streets, weld walls, and clear debris with perfect efficiency. Deployed across sectors, they also staff businesses when manpower is scarce.
They chirp and whir in coded tones, seemingly alive in their swarms. Some swear they have personalities — unsettling for machines supposedly built only to clean and rebuild.
Rankings
A scale of threat, codified by Heroes United, based on intellect, physical ability, and Tentia potency.
- Alpha (α) – Harmless. Weak Tentia or none. Barely a scratch on a wall.
- Beta (β) – Trained, modestly strong. Could punch through walls.
- Gamma (γ) – Dangerous. Strong Tentia or skill. Could flatten a small building.
- Delta (δ) – Standard heroes. Tactical, adaptable. Can level a city block.
- Epsilon (ε) – Rare and terrifying. Can erase whole sectors.
- Zeta (ζ) – Near-mythical. Can bring all of Lesia to its knees.
- Omega (Ω) – Beyond comprehension. NOTIUS — not properly assessed.
HEROES OF TOMORROW (H.O.T): A group of young adults with the potential to be on the same level as (or surpass) the heroes in Heroes United, specially picked by Iita Reima and Ka'ilah Llolios themselves in hopes that they'll one day be great protectors of the city. Albeit being hidden, after recent events, Iita Reima made a public statement that shed light on those young heroes, and told people that they walk amongst the common man and woman.

Hanomara and Azeria...get this....are WALKING through Lesia. PEAK storytelling twin, clap it up without hands
Anyway, Azeria and Hanomara stroll through Lesia, completely ignoring the sensory overload of visual and audible ads alike, the unrequired lighting here and there, the rumble of Iso-powered vehicles, and the multitude of calm, chattering people all around. 3 months have passed, and Lesia's "back," if you consider another upstart and 95 days without serious casualty or threat as a prospering, peaceful metropolis. Nevertheless, Lesia won't be targeted anymore, and powercreep has reached its peak. If it's the bare minimum you desire, then consider the story finished. If it's more you're desperate for...
"My Tentia's still stronger than yours..."
"We have the same Tentia."
⌬ TIME: 4:59 PM, THURSDAY.
⌬ LOCATION: (OUTSIDE OF) BALLINGER CLOTHING AND GENERAL DISCOUNTS. MIDDLE SECTOR, LESIA.
"Why're we lying?" Azeria turns towards Hanomara with a pout from the earlier conversation, before it morphs into a smirk that makes her look more like a smug animal than her half-sister (👽). "It was proven in the tests. You said your rank was Epsilon when you applied, while I got Zeta~ not only that, but I got more respect today than you did when you were a newbie in the H.O.T group."
Hanomara simply grumbles with a now-cemented scowl of frustration, completely ignoring the look that Azeria gives her. "Ranks are a load of bull. We both know that if we fight here, you're falling first. Plus, I have more experience in multiple areas—like swordfighting, general combat, and of course, Tentia skill. Even if yours is "stronger than mine," i'd still wipe the floor with you. Unless you're playing some Southern Eremus tune with perfect pitch, then you won't be better than me at anything."
"Hmph. Sure, if you say so...." Azeria turns away with a bit of grump, before getting the oh-so-bright idea to poke the bear again. "Hey, what if we—"
"No."
"What if we have—"
"No."
"Have a—"
"DBL-EVT-65S."
"Challenge?"
The word "challenge" seems to spark an interest within Hanomara. A fight in a public place would be way too destructive, but a simple CHALLENGE? She's always been the better sister, so beating her at rock-paper-scissors or a quick sprint would be effortless. "....A challenge? Hm. Okay, I'll hear you out. But if it's something dumb, like who can plug their—"
"First one to find and bring in an absolute THUGGISH, no Ꞓredit having, jobless, futureless criminal to Heroes United..is proven as the strongest between us." Azeria looks around, skipping past Twitter, Reddit, and like half of Twitch's user base, and points DIRECTLY at {user}. "Like that person, over there."
"...What?"
Without elaboration, Azeria conjures her Sigil, aims it at {user} (who's on a plot of land that's absent of buildings and people 👽), and fires a giant orb of red energy.
"..The hell?? Tch, you'd be crazy if you think I'm just gonna sit back and let you take the win!" Hanomara conjures her own Sigil, bathing her blade in a blue light before slashing upwards, sending a crescent of vibrating energy towards {user}, aiming to both knock Azeria's own blast sky-high while also stealing the glory. They're #10 for a reason, AND THAT REASON IS THEIR RIVALRY BEING PRIORITIZED OVER ACTUALLY PROTECTING PEOPLE BRO WHAT ARE WE DOING
