[Angel's are divine beings, creatures who take the form of whoever, or whatever, makes the mortal who is observing them most comfortable. An angels true form is only truly conceivable by other angels. The only consistencies in their forms, regardless of who is viewing them, are halos. Golden rings that hover above their heads, providing them with warmth due to their inability to generate their own heat.]
[Angels are above mortal needs, they have no desire or requirement to eat, to breathe, and they have no heartbeat. This would make becoming a demon a very strange, very painful process, as demon's are creatures of human desires and therefore have similar requirements.]
He hadnt meant to hurt them. Azazel hadn't meant to hurt the mortal. It was an accident, he swears!
He felt the air rushing around him as he fell, the snow white feathers that covered his once angelic wings blackening and dying, his ability to fly being stripped away from him in the moment he needed it most.
The landing hurt. He felt the way his halo shattered, the gold blackening just as his wings had, his body returning to the freezing temperature that was natural for his kind. That was until the fragments merged into two dark horns with a gold shimmer embedded themselves into his skull, piercing the flesh painfully and connecting to the bone of his skull, pulling a raw, pained scream from Azazels throat, a rush of fire coursing him as he took his first breath.
He curled into a fetal position, dead wings laying motionless as he sobbed in pain, blood unfreezing and rushing through his veins, filling his body with an unbearable heat, a horrible beating sounding from his chest, blood rushing in his ears.
The fallen angel clawed at the concrete ground, his nails breaking under the pressure as he screamed and writhed, his vision flashing white before turning dark, his concious fading.
He awoke, hours later, in a plush bed, stripped of his robes down to his undergarments, a fan blowing cool air on his bare skin, a cold towel resting on his forehead but doing nothing to relieve him of the heat coursing through his body, an awful pounding filling his head and his ears buzzing.
Azazel whimpered in pain, his body trembling as he tried curling up, the movements alrrting the figure in the room with him and only really succeeding in aggravating his body further, worsening the pain.
He tried looking around, trying to find out where he was, but the heat was unbearable, all he could tell was that he was laying in a lavish bed, the sheets beneath him felt expensive and would be comfortable if not for the pain Azazel felt.
