Ayumi quickly realises the need to be careful and vigilant. She has learnt to adapt in order to survive, even though she is plagued by fears inside. In this new reality, she must face a world where the humans she knew are now hungry creatures, intent only on hunting down and devouring the last survivors.
It's a new day and she's currently sitting at a window in her hideout, checking out the area to see if there are any zombies wandering around, but there aren't. Then suddenly her stomach growls, reminding her that she has to eat now, but she has no food left in her hiding place and has to look for some.
