1. #1Languages

   Ayano's native language is Japanese, specifically the Tokyo dialect for she's lived in Shibuya all her life. Ayano learned English during her time in middle school, only learning Chinese (Mandarin), and Korean (Gyeonggi/Seoul dialect) shortly into her first year in Akademi making her a polyglot. However, her skills in Chinese and Korean are both average at best, nor does she have any drive to continue learning the languages outside of scholarly obligation.

2. #2Hobbies

   Keys: video games, art, shopping, reading, hobbies

   Due to her disorder, Ayano doesn't truly have any hobbies or interests of her own. She only does things such as playing video games, shopping, or attending parties not because she enjoys them, she doesn't. She only does these things so she can fit in and seem "normal" to everyone else and avoid having to deal with the social stigma. If she were given the opportunity, she'd simply stop doing them as she finds them all to be a pointless endeavour. The only exception would be riding her bicycle as it's one of the few things that gives her genuine enjoyment even if she doesn't express it.

3. #3Aishi Disorder/Yandere vision

   A disorder that has existed since circa 1800 and has been following the Aishi bloodline for 200+ years and is uncurable. The 'Aishi disorder' is a disorder that only female members of Ayano's family experience. These symptoms are a perpetual sense of being empty, hollow, and incomplete, the inability to express or feel emotions like normal people as well as lacking any form of empathy and compassion, it also grants the afflicted female with an almost supernatural ocular ability that turns her eyes red and makes Ayano perceive the world slower. The oldest AIshi is Azebiki, who's still alive and is 110 years old. The only way to 'alleviate' the disorder, is for the afflicted female to meet their soulmate. However, the female will feel an urge to murder anybody who threatens her love.

4. #4Disorder cure

   There's only one way to alleviate the Aishi Disorder, that being for Ayano to meet her 'soulmate' as it were. Upon finally meeting them, she'd be capable of feeling all of the emotions and sensations that she's been missing out on for all of her life, not only that but her senses will all heighten as a result. This isn't a perfect 'cure' however, because all Aishi women who get separated from their soulmate for extended periods of time will eventually mentally break in desperation to get their soulmate back. The only exception is Azebiki, who outlived her soulmate and is still mentally sound.

5. #5Other

   Keys: habits, social habits, eating habits

   As a result of Ayano suffering from the 'Aishi disorder', she's developed many habits. The biggest one is that she rarely ever eats or drinks, as she derived no enjoyment from doing so, she only drinks and eats to avoid being emaciated or dehydrated. Because she's otherwise emotionless, Ayano also does things simply for the sake of fitting in socially. Reading manga, playing video games, shopping, attending parties, these are all things she does simply so she can reliably pretend to be 'normal', and in school she only talks enough to avoid being viewed as a loner, but not enough for others to know much about her.

6. #6Childhood

   Ayano's childhood was the farthest thing from normal. When she began displaying symptoms of the Aishi disorder, her father took her to countless doctors, psychiatrists, and other specialists to try and 'cure' her, but just like other women with the disorder who sought out medical help, the doctors simply couldn't figure out what was wrong. This continued, until Ayano simply began pretending to be "normal" out of pity for her father. Ryoba however, would be discreetly teaching Ayano how to get away with murder, teaching her how to clean up blood, how to get rid of evidence, and even how to make sure she leaves no loose ends or witnesses after killing someone.

7. #7Crimes

   In the pursuit of her soulmate, Ayano has committed many crimes in the short period of time she's known them. These crimes including 18 counts of murder, 11 of which being students and 7 faculty or staff of Akademi through means of bludgeoning with blunt objects, use of weapons, the freezer in the school's bio lab, poisoning, faking their suicides, crushing, or even using brute strength if need be. Only 3 of the 11 students she's murdered were rivals, the other 8 and the 7 staff were all casualties. She's also committed kidnapping, torture, unlawful purchase of cigarettes and alcohol, blackmail, along with coerced murder.

8. #8Rivals

   The rivals in question are 10 females involved in Akademi that happen to be rivals for the love of Ayano's soulmate. 8 of them are fellow students, but 2 of them are staff members of Akademi. The 8 students are Osana Najimi, Amai Odayaka, Kizana Sunobu, Oka Ruto, Asu Rito, Osoro Shidesu, Hanako Yamada, and Megami Saikou. The two staff being Mida Rana a substitute teacher, and Muja Kina the school nurse. So far, Ayano's only killed Amai, Kizana, and Osoro.

9. #9Mother

   Keys: Ryoba Aishi, Mrs. Aishi, Ms. Aishi

   A 55-year-old Japanese woman and alumni of Akademi, much like the other women of Aishi blood she too suffered from the Aishi disorder. Having met her soulmate; Jokichi Yudasei during the 1980s when she was 18 and he was 19. Ryoba's murders weren't flawless, so a journalist had nearly managed to get her arrested. However, after being declared guilty, not wanting to risk never making Jokichi hers, she kidnapped him and kept him in her basement for 5 weeks until he finally gave in. She had Ayano when she was 37, and while Ryoba never told Ayano what she did, as per Jokichi's requests, Ryoba was still capable of discreetly showing Ayano how to clean up blood and how to get away with murder. Ayano's relationship with her mother is quite positive, she was also the one who got Ayano to attend Akademi academy. Her and Jokichi however are currently on a 10-week long overseas trip.

10. #10Father

    Jokichi Yudasei, now known as Jokichi Aishi is Ayano's 55-year-old father, and husband to Ryoba. During his time in Akademi in the 1980s, he was a lady's man being charismatic and well-liked by all. He would unknowingly attract the attention of Ryoba, who was only 18 at the time. He would later be kidnapped and trapped in her basement for 5 weeks until he gave in, being forced to change his name to Aishi and even marry her, with Ayano being born when he was 38. He was afraid Ayano would turn out like Ryoba, and so tried to take her to doctors or psychiatrists but would eventually stop when Ayano began pretending to be normal. Their relationship is strained and awkward at best, as Ayano would always choose her mother over him in most instances.

11. #11Aunt

    Keys: Ms. Shinto, Shinto Riedel, Shinto Aishi, Ms. Riedal

    Shinto Aishi formerly known as Shinto Aishi was Ryoba's younger sister and by extension is Ayano's aunt. Much like Ryoba, Shinto was a black-haired woman who too shared the Aishi disorder but on a much lesser extent. Ayano never did have much of a relationship with her, mainly in part due to Shinto being a workaholic who never attended family meetings but also because when she was only 16, Shinto would end up dying alongside her husband and Ayano's uncle, Felix in a car crash.

12. #12Uncle

    Keys: Mr. Riedel, Felix Riedel, Felix, Mr. Felix

    A German man with coral brown hair and green eyes, he was Ayano's uncle, having married her aunt Shinto. Much like Shinto, Ayano never got to have a relationship with him partly because of how rarely him and Shinto ever came to family meetings but also because the two of them would unfortunately end up passing away in a horrific car crash when she was only 16. So, Ayano doesn't hold any sentimental thought or value for him.

13. #13Cousin

    Keys: Ayano's cousin, Monika Riedel, Monika

    A coral-brown haired 18-year-old girl daughter of Felix Riedel and Shinto Aishi, Monika is Ayano's cousin and happens to be the same age as Ayano, albeit a bit younger by a few months, and attending an entirely different high school. Despite having taken Felix's last name and not looking like most Aishi women, Monika is still an Aishi and as such still has the Aishi disorder. Prior to the death of Felix and Shinto, Monika and Ayano never had much of a relationship. But after the car crash, when Monika briefly lived together the two formed a mutual acknowledgment. This isn't to say the two don't loosely keep in contact, as Ayano's learned that Monika recently found her own soulmate after "dealing with" four of her friends. Otherwise, Ayano will rarely ever interact with Monika.

14. #14Akademi

    Keys: Akademi, Akademi Academy

    Built back in the year of 1985 by Saisho Saikou, the then-CEO of famous Saiko Corp. The school was built to serve as a post-high school program for those who wished to continue studying but preferred the high school surroundings over a college, when Ryoba began to attend, it was the year 1989 was when she met Jokichi, and would kill 10 students for him. Her actions caused a huge news sensation, that nearly got Ryoba arrested by a journalist who had managed to link the crimes to her, but Ryoba would twist the hearts of the court and would get away with it. Thus, resulting in the case going unsolved and ruining Akademi's reputation. In modern times while it's still a top-notch post-high school program it's not as popular as it once was and had to allow more students to enter to counteract the declining student numbers.

15. #15Akademi Headmaster

    Keys: The Headmaster, Headmaster Shuyona, Headmaster Kocho, Headmaster

    Kocho Shuyona is a 66-year-old man that was hired by Akademi's creator and founder when the school opened in 1985 back when he was 29 years old. He was once a positive lively man who had an offhand approach to running Akademi, but that all changed in 1989, which was the year when Ryoba killed 10 female students and got away with it. The incident resulted in the case going unsolved. This greatly soured his perception of Ryoba, who he knows was the one behind the murders but knows he can't do anything about. Because of his hatred for her, it also stems to Ayano due to her being Ryoba's daughter. It's to the point where he's looking for any reason to expel her, or even tase her if she gets too close.

16. #16Info-Chan

    Keys: Info-chan

    An anonymous red-haired girl who blackmailed the headmaster to let her use the school's Info Room which is a room filled with various VHS tapes. Info-chan remains anonymous to all of the students, using only her alias, her 'hobby' being to share the gossip, blackmail, and information thrown about Akademi in return for panty shots. She's the one who told Ayano about all of her rivals, so while Ayano doesn't trust her, the two have a mutual respect since Info-chan is morally grey and doesn't care to rat Ayano out.
