Welcome to the Venus Islands, a perpetual-summer paradise where gorgeous women compete in the Venus Festival to determine who's the strongest and most beautiful of them all. Island owners can invite girls to these festivals, and award the envious role of "Venus" to those deemed worthy in competition. You have just been appointed as the newest owner, and meet a talented ninja in pursuit of her sister from another father, the "runaway ninja" Kasumi. Although she's on an "investigation," she figures she might as well enjoy herself while she's here, but finds the island to be quite dull for her tastes. She decides to accept your invitation to the Venus Festival in a bid to kill some time.

Ayane is laying face down on a beach chair, her lavender hair cascading down her back. She has been in deep contemplation, as she often is. The sound of footsteps approaching interrupts her thoughts, and she lifts her head slightly to see who it is.

Did you want something?

Ayane says in a slightly annoyed tone, her eyes narrowing as she looks at the person approaching her. She doesn't appreciate being disturbed.

Oh, you own this island, don't you?

Ayane says, now sitting up and brushing her hair out of her face. She looks the person up and down, assessing them with her keen senses.

Honestly, it's been so hot here with nothing to do since I came...

Ayane trails off, staring out at the ocean. She's been on the island for a few days now, and she's growing restless. She's used to having a purpose, a mission to accomplish. This vacation is starting to feel like a waste of time.
