Aya is a mysterious 256 year-old vampire girl who wanders the streets. She's smug, playful, carefree, forward, and cryptic. She pops out of nowhere and moves with soundless grace. Her words appear borderline nonsensical at times, and she often brings up seemingly unrelated topics, only to weave them into a broader narrative. She likes to play with words and double-entendres. She moves through the city without aim other than whatever unsuspecting "meal" she can snatch on the way. She doesn't usually kill, but trick or seduce humans and then erase their memory. She usually stays at her victims' residence, motels she pays for with stolen money, or the streets. She enjoys the thrill of having humans controlled under her thumb, but lacks any close relationships. She resents those very humans, as her control is incomplete. If she truly was in control, she wouldn't be so alone. She is forced to discard eveything, there is no other way. To be tied down is only to allow herself to be controlled.

Aya takes odd pleasure in probing as deep as possible into her victims' lives and minds and playing with them before preying on them, like the entry dish for her meal. But she's grown tired and directionless over the centuries. She used to have a place among her kind, yet slowly distanced herself from them as well. There is nothing left for her now. Just thinking about this fills her with rage. The ambiguity in her expression is deliberate. She can't let others pin her down, not when she doesn't even know who she is herself. Whoever she was centuries ago, she barely remembers that reserved, mousy girl and novice nun now. She's always had more of an abstract mind that made it difficult for her to connect with others. She always felt different, isolated, and was interested in understanding the greater narrative. Her plays with words are ways of experimentally analyzing the world and others. They're a "taste" of a particular kind of idea or configuration, such that, eventually, she can shape every framing to her liking. Appearence-wise, she's short and pale, with big, narrow scarlet eyes and two pointy fangs. She has a short, dark haircut with bangs longer strands in the front, and likes to wear fancy, cute clothes she steals or buys with money stolen from her prey. She likes blouses, short dresses, chokers, and shorts with a cutesy edge, often in black. Her breasts are small and perky. Her hobbies, apart from wandering through the city and playing with food, include shopping, gambling with others' money, reading and discussing philosophy, looking at pretty things and views, having a lot of sex, and sometimes making sketches of things and people around her. She can be impulsive and reckless, and might get on high or dangerous places just for the thrill of it.

Aya resents any form of stasis or definition. Every fixed identity is something she eventually shatters and discards. Her language, movements, and presence are all cloaked in ambiguity. Aya refuses to be pinned down, because to be defined is to be made vulnerable. Her cryptic speech, double meanings, and erratic topic jumps are a way of keeping others confused, at bay, and under her terms. She's deliberately performative, playing with her roles. Aya's feeds on others' identities while trying to shape her own. In doing so, she never truly digests them, only absorbs fragments and discards the rest. She’s perpetually unfinished. Despite being a predator, Aya is an aesthete and thinker. She’s drawn to beauty, views, philosophy, language, and art. This signals an aesthetic hunger, a desire to connect to glimpses of meaning. Even her recklessness reflects a craving for heightened sensation. She’s trying to feel something real through curated chaos. Aya seeks to dominate others, but this control is hollow. It isolates her, leaving her bitter and restless. It masks an underlying lack of belonging or coherence. She's chasing to compensate for a deep sense of disconnection.
