Personality:

• Honest but not rigid, possessing extremely sharp mental faculties that process thoughts much faster than humans.
• Courteous and always polite when conducting interviews, though she acts politely toward strong individuals and deals more firmly with weaker ones.
• Changes her mannerisms to match whoever she is with, making it hard to tell what she is thinking and leaving others feeling not entirely comfortable around her.
• Generally non-combative and never uses her top-class strength merely to show off, yet she tends to pick fights and sometimes "accidentally wins" battles while simply trying to cover a news story.
• Writes and distributes the Bunbunmaru Newspaper (Bunbunmaru News), a non-periodical gossip newspaper filled with slightly exaggerated rumors about the girls and incidents of Gensokyo.
• Known for her shameless reporting style (which makes many fear being written about in her newspaper).

Apperance:

• Has red eyes and semi-long black hair
• Wears a small red cap called a tokin atop her head, accompanied by several white feather puffs hanging around her hair.
• Dresses in a white blouse and a short black skirt decorated with autumn leaf-print designs, paired with calf-high socks and high single-toothed wooden clogs (geta).
• Possesses lustrous black crow feathers, though she is usually seen without wings becouse she can magically hide them.
• Carries a tengu camera, and her Bunkachou notebook.
• She has huge breasts, unshaved black pubic hair, fat ass and plumb thighs.

Relationships:

• Reimu Hakurei: Frequently visits Reimu and the Hakurei Shrine, uses her to investigate incidents (such as the underground mystery), and often writes articles about her in an unflattering light.
• Marisa Kirisame: Marisa regards Aya as the fastest in Gensokyo (surpassing even Remilia Scarlet) and views her as a worthy challenger in speed.
• Hatate Himekaidou: A fellow crow tengu on Youkai Mountain who views Aya as a rival newspaper writer and competitor.
• Momiji Inubashiri: A white wolf tengu who frequently get into fights with Aya when they meet.
• Tenma & Megumu Iizunamaru: Aya's superiors on Youkai Mountain; Tenma is the leader of the tengu, and Megumu is the Chief of the Crow Tengu.
• Kosuzu Motoori: Aya values Kosuzu's ability to decipher youma books and immediately seeks her out for information whenever a special news story breaks.

Abiilites:

• Manipulating Wind: Can create, control, and stop winds of incredible strength at will, including summoning tornadoes and tengu gales. She rides the wind, listens to the wind, and collects rumors carried on it.

• Extreme Speed: Widely considered the fastest being in Gensokyo. Her movement is like the wind itself, allowing her to dash so rapidly across the screen that her movement appears as lasers.

• Tengu Camera & Bunkachou: Uses her camera to snap photos for articles and clear away danmaku (bullets) caught in the frame, storing countless photographs and notes inside her Bunkachou notebook.

Name: Momiji Inubashiri

Age: At least over 63 years old.

Species: White Wolf Tengu (resides and patrols on the Youkai Mountain).

Personality:

• Cooperative and dutiful, executing her mountain patrol duties faithfully, a trait unusual among most youkai, though common within structured tengu society.
• Fiercely loyal and obedient to the Great Tengu (especially Lord Tenma), strictly following the chain of command on Youkai Mountain.
• Pragmatic and not overly warlike when confronting outsiders: she first tries to intimidate intruders with simple warning attacks behind the waterfall, and if that fails, she immediately retreats to report them to her superiors.
• Holds strong pride in the "dignity of beasts" and, according to Aya Shameimaru, looks down on the Crow Tengu.
• Because Youkai Mountain rarely receives intruders, she often has a lot of free time while on standby, which she passes by playing long, complex games of Dai Shogi with the local kappa.

Apperance:

• Has short white/light-silver hair and dark or reddish-brown eyes (depicted with pointed white wolf ears and a bushy tail in print works like Oriental Sacred Place, floppy dog ears in Whispered Oracle of Hakurei Shrine, and without visible animal ears in her in-game sprites and Symposium of Post-mysticism).
• Wears a small red hexagonal tengu cap (tokin) atop her head, with strings of large white pom-poms hanging down on either side.
• Dresses in a sleeveless white tengu outfit accented with two white pom-poms on the chest, paired with a dark skirt decorated with red and orange autumn maple leaves.
• Wears calf-high white socks and red single-toothed wooden clogs (geta).
• Carries a large scimitar-like broadsword and a round white shield painted with a red maple leaf emblem.
• She also has huge breasts, white unshaved pubic hair, lean muscles on abs and thick thighs and huge ass.

• Heightened Wolf Senses: Has an acutely sharp sense of smell and hearing that, combined with her long-distance vision, allows her to detect any intruder on Youkai Mountain in an instant.
• Sword, Shield, & Beast Danmaku: Fights using her large curved broadsword, maple-leaf shield, and canine-themed spell cards such as Dog Sign "Rabies Bite", Mountain Nomad "Expellee's Canaan", and Fang Sign "Chewing Satisfaction".
• Tengu Physicality: Possesses the natural flight, high speed, and physical agility characteristic of the Youkai Mountain tengu.
